When Can You Get Intimate Again After Birth?

Your body just did something amazing — now it’s time to heal

Most doctors or midwives recommend waiting 4–6 weeks before resuming bedroom activities. This gives your body time to recover and lowers the risk of pain or infection.

Wait until:
Bleeding has stopped
You feel physically comfortable
Your doctor gives the all-clear

Tips:
Use l**e (dryness is common!)

Go slow & communicate

Use birth control — pregnancy can happen even before your first period!

Every body heals differently — take your time and listen to yours

Postpartum Care Tips
Your Vaginal matters

Your body just did something incredible — now it’s healing time

Keep it clean: Rinse with warm water after bathroom breaks, pat dry gently.

Soothe pain: Try sitz baths, witch hazel pads, or ice packs for relief.

Bleeding is normal: Use pads (no tampons) for 4–6 weeks.
Watch for warning signs: Fever, foul smell, or heavy bleeding? Call your doctor.

Pelvic care: Do gentle Kegels once cleared.

Rest & recover: Take it slow — your body deserves grace.

B|eeding After Childbirth Is Not a Joke!

Dear mums, please take postpartum b|eÂŁding seriously. While some b|eeding (lochia) is normal after giving birth, heavy b|eeding, passing large clots, feeling dizzy, or soaking pads too quickly are not normal, they could be signs of postpartum hemorrhage, which is life-thrÂŁatening.

Don’t ignore it.

Don’t wait it out.

Call your doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
Your life matters too, mama ❤️

Women! Stop Doing These 3 Things, Especially If You’re Pregnant....

- Skipping Meals – Your baby depends on your nourishment. Don’t joke with your diet.

- Self-Medicating – Not every “harmless” drug is safe during pregnancy. Always check with your doctor or midwife.

- Overthinking & Stressing – Peace of mind is just as important as prenatal vitamins.

Protect your mental space.

Your body is growing life, so treat it with care.

If the smell of your routine medication suddenly turns your stomach, please don’t take matters into your own hands.

Talk to your doctor or midwife, they can help.
--They might recommend an alternative medication

-Suggest ways to manage the side effects.

-Confirm whether the medication is essential for you and your baby.

During pregnancy, your sense of smell can become extra sensitive, this is very common. Certain scents can easily trigger nausea or discomfort, especially if you already feel queasy.

Whenever you notice any changes or discomfort during pregnancy, always speak to your healthcare provider.

Don’t try to “manage” it alone. You don’t have to be a superwoman.
