As we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom, we also look to God for peace in our time. It is easy to feel hopeless or anxious when we see the state of His world today.

Join us today in prayer as we commemorate their sacrifice and pray for His unfaltering love and mercy to heal nations and unite hearts.

On this Remembrance Sunday, we pause as a nation to honour those who gave their lives in service, that we might live in peace and freedom.

As Christian broadcasters and communicators, we remember with gratitude all who served and continue to serve. We also recognise the role that broadcasters, journalists and media practitioners play in keeping the stories of courage and sacrifice alive.

At the Christian Broadcasting Council, we remain committed to promoting truth, hope and reconciliation in our public witness. As Scripture reminds us, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13)

May today be marked by both remembrance and resolve – that we would continue to be peacemakers, truth tellers and light bearers in our communities.
