When you spend too much time, worrying about the bigger picture and how much weight you’ve got to lose, you’re much more likely to convince yourself that either sticking to your diet isn’t worth it because it’s never going to happen! Or that this one little thing won’t hurt in the grand scheme of things.
We all know that the fastest and easiest way to lose weight is to stick to our plan, 100% of the time.
If you start to contemplate sticking to plan 100% for five months in order to lose five stone it can seem impossible.
But if you just wake up every morning and decide and tell yourself I’m sticking to plan today that’s totally doable.
Spend five minutes every morning envisaging sticking to plan and going to bed with that sense of satisfaction and pride in yourself at committing to your plan and carrying out on your promise to yourself.
Spend five minutes visualising your plans for the day and what you will eat or fit in with that decide on when and how you are going to get your body moving be specific decide on the time you’re going to put your trainers on and walk out of the house.
Decide on the time by which you will have drank a certain amount of water or the time that you’re going to eat your meals.
Decide on the response you’re going to give to friends when they say oh just one won’t hurt and decide that you’re going to go to bed early because sleep is the Foundation of your success.
Look after the days and the months will look after themselves.
Send me a DM if you would like my support.
Big love, Becca x

My recent diagnosis of ADHD has made it abundantly clear why I struggled to maintain and lose my weight over so many years.
Every diet I tried over the years was overwhelming. They needed me to focus on food, the very thing I was trying to stop over indulging in.
It also makes it clear why The 1:1 Diet worked for me.
By following a meal replacement Diet, the decision overwhelm trying to decide and stick to what I needed to eat to lose weight was totally removed.
The total avoidance of mainstream food for a while gave me time out to notice all of my unhelpful habits.
Research shows it takes 66 days to break a habit.
By following the 1:1 diet for 12 weeks, I was able to break all of the eating habits I had developed to cope with my ADHD.
By moving up through the steps of the Diet, I was able to re-introduce a balanced relationship with food and create new habits that enabled me to learn how to maintain my weight.
The 1:1 Diet is the only diet that has enabled me to successfully keep my weight down.
If you would like help to lose weight on The 1:1 Diet, break those habits that are holding you back and re-establish a healthy balance with food I can help you.
Send me a DM to get started.

January reset commences!!
Having lost 8.5 stone in 2020 and maintained that loss pretty well for a few years, I suffered from severe emotional eating when one of my sons was seriously ill last year. Recovering from obesity is probably going to be a lifelong battle for me but one I am determined to win at.
Thankfully, he is doing well again and last September I was able to reset and lose 3 stone of that gain.
I’m now in a good place. This Christmas I was able to go out and feel fabulous. But I am not where I want to be.
I have proven to myself that I can get my weight right down to a healthy place and to a place where I can wear size 10 dresses and feel totally amazing.
I am getting back there! So here is the beginning of my January reset!
By the spring, I am determined to get back to where I was and maintain my loss again.
Don’t just watch, wishing you could do the same. If you’d like to do it with me, send me a message and we’ll get you started on The 1:1 Diet.
I can’t wait to share this journey with you. We’ve got this.

I’d tried every diet out there. And on all other diets I have tried, I gained back the weight I lost, and more.
I was at breaking point.
I was researching surgical procedures! But, even with surgery, I realised I would have to change my diet anyway.
I wanted to take a last chance to lose my weight with diet alone.
The 1:1 Diet gave me that chance. I was worried about meal replacement diets. I was worried that I couldn’t stick to it. I was worried I was gain it all back. But I had to take a chance!
I am so glad that I did.
Being on a meal replacement diet has allowed me to work on all my unhelpful habits with food.
It allowed me to succeed in losing 8.5 stone (54kg /120lbs). To realise that I can be slim.
Yes, if you go back to eating the way you ate, you will gain the weight back again. I’ve had my moments, I won’t lie.
This is a fact of life, after all weight loss.
You cannot lose control of your eating and expect to stay a healthy weight.
You have to prioritise your health, over your instinct to over eat. You have to change.
But this diet has helped me to do that.
I’m not perfect.
I fluctuate. But I am keeping my weight down and I am winning.
I know what it’s like to need lose a lot of weight. I know what it’s like to fight to keep it off.
It’s hard.
But so is being overweight.
So is looking in the mirror and feeling sad.
So is going to parties and lacking in confidence. Or even worse, not going at all.
So is being the fattest mum at school and your kids coming home and asking why (because their friends are commenting on it). And yes, this happened to me.
So is losing your self esteem and feeling increasingly invisible (paradoxically to the size you are becoming). And yes, in Dec 2019, I literally felt like people looked through me.
But not any more.
I am helping slimmers all over the UK to do what I have done. I would love to help you too.
See the link in my bio if you’d to start.

You need to actually acknowledge that you have got yourself to a position with your weight where you want to make a change.
For so many years, I lived in denial that I was becoming as big as I did and that I could do something about it.
I convinced myself I needed to eat large portions. I convinced myself that I couldn’t lose weight like others. I convinced myself that this was just the way I was built.
In my minds-eye I was a curvy size 16. I was happy with that. I felt attractive like that. But I had put the blinkers on as my dress size increased to an 18 and then a 20. (UK sizes)
I was kidding myself that I was still a size 20, by choosing loose fitting clothes that would stretch or scoot over my bum (which was at least a 22 I’m sure).
I knew I didn’t like what I saw in the mirror. I knew I never felt nice when I dressed up. Latterly feeling like “mutton dressed as lamb” or a drag queen whenever I made an effort to dress up.
But I still didn’t really get it. I didn’t really realise how far I’d let myself slip down the weight gain road.
The comfort and stress relief I got from food outweighed my desire to lose weight.
Until I saw this video. I couldn’t escape it. It was there in 4D for me to see. I was gutted. I had to change.
I’ve done a lot of thinking and soul searching on my weight loss journey. What is it that enables us to succeed?.
I genuinely believe the first step is to truly acknowledge the position you are in and want to change it. Without this, it will never be important enough to you to make the change. The trappings and (let’s be honest) delight of food and overeating will always be more important to you.
It can be upsetting. It can totally floor you. I was. But you can do this. There are so many in here who have shown you that it can be done. Believe it. Become one of them.
Big love ❤️ Becca

This year, I have been diagnosed with ADHD. So much about my weight struggles and what The 1:1 Diet worked for me, now makes so much more sense.
I struggled all my life with weight control. But in 2020, I managed to lose 8.5 stone on The 1:1 Diet and have largely maintained my loses ever since.
I have had so many realisations about why I have found managing my weight so difficult, why I failed at every other diet I tried and why The 1:1 Diet finally worked for me.
So here’s a chat from me in the hope that it helps you….. if any of this resonates, book a call on this link to get started on The 1:1 Diet, get your weight down and learn how to develop new habits and behaviours to keep it off.

3 Stone off!!! In hindsight the weeks have flown by and every decision to stick to plan has been worth it. In August this year, I didn’t feel like myself and I was becoming affected by my weight again. Today I keep catching myself in the mirror and feel pleased. Back in my happy zone. I am so grateful to my September self for doing this!! How do you want to feel by the end of March? You can do it. DM me to start. X #one2onediet #loseweight #lose3stone #weightlossdiary
Week 13 reset results! Another 5 lbs off, totalling 2 st 9 lbs since 1 September. Please remember you don’t need to be perfect. You do need to be persistent. A brief wobble doesn’t mean you need to throw in the towel. It means you need to reset, regroup and carry on. I talk here about alcohol on plan and how it is so much easier to totally abstain until you get your weight under control. It’s not just the sod it moments it causes, nor the calories on the wine. It can really affect mood and your ability to cope with emotional eating urges. Stay strong. DM me if you’d like to start on plan with me. We can do it together. Week 12 update - so this week I’m not going to weigh, because the week before as you know I didn’t stick to plan properly
But I’m happy to announce that I have completed week 12 100% on Step 1B and I’m back in the zone.
This weekend, I had the biggest social event of my year. It was a weekend away with lots of my consultant friends.
Dinner out on the Friday night, the full day convention and a black tie Glitzy gala dinner on Saturday night.
I stepped up for these two days and on Friday I had two products and 600 cal over a starter and main course.
On the Saturday night, I had the gala dinner starter and main course which is probably more than 600 cal, but it was sensible choices and I’m happy with that.
The biggest thing that I achieved this weekend was going to one of the most champagne fuelled weekends of my year and had zero alcohol.
Alcohol is something that I have identified that really derails my weight loss dieting plans and I am 100% committed to avoiding alcohol until I get to where I want to be weight wise.
Please do not think that you can’t continue to follow your diet on the one-to-one diet across the Christmas season.
It’s totally doable. The diet is flexible and can incorporate dinners and so on so no excuses.
Just carry on. Keep putting your weight loss first and get it done.
If you need my help, reach out and I can support you to follow the one-to-one diet. In the meantime,
Big love, Becca x

It convention weekend!!!
For once I’m trying to pack only what I need and plan each outfit ahead of time.
I’m not sure on one thing though. For my day outfit, should I wear the knee high boots with kitten heals or the knackered sparkly trainers?? What do you think?

Week 11
So this is an honesty post. I recorded last Friday but hesitated to post it as I always fear derailing followers on plan when I have a wobble.
However, I’m delighted to report that since Friday I am totally back on track and moving forwards.
It’s important to remember that we are not all perfect and we do not need to be 100% perfect every day to reach our weight loss goals.
We do need to persevere. We do need to reset and we do need to be kind to ourselves.
Keep pushing and keep reminding yourself of what you want to achieve. Don’t settle for living your life at a weight that’s comfortable but always leaves you feeling not quite where you want to be. Not quite confident to dress how you’d like to. Not quite a weight that meets medical guidance on health.
I hope this helps you and I’m looking forward to being able to tell you this Friday about my most recent perfect week on plan.
If you’d like my support with the 1:1 diet and are struggling. I’ve been there and I get it and I know how to succeed on this plan. I’ve done it before and will do it again.
Send me a DM to get started.
Big love
