If You Want Change, You’ve Got to Make the Effort!

Life’s like a path, isn’t it?
Some stretches feel like a smooth, easy stroll, while others feel like climbing a mountain in the rain. 🌧️
But if you keep walking the same route, nothing’s going to change!

As we step into a new year, it’s time to ask yourself: Do I really want to keep ending up in the same place? 😕

Because if you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
It’s a hard truth to face, but it’s also the spark we all need sometimes.

For years, I stayed in my comfort zone, telling myself, “Next year, I’ll do something different.”

But change didn’t come until I decided to take a new path and put one foot in front of the other, no matter how scary or uncertain it felt.

This year could be the year you rewrite your story but it starts with effort. 👍

The time of year that frost crunches underfoot, the days are way too short, just two of the reasons that I used to dread January!
Not just the ice, the snow, that was the weekend fun part! More the thought of another year doing the same old thing. 😳

After long hours working multiple jobs, I’d get home just in time to tuck my son into bed, feeling like I was missing out on his childhood.

I wanted to be there for the big moments and the small ones too. The school runs, the walks on the beach, the time to just be together.
But far more often than not, the 9-to-5 didn’t leave room for that.😞

That’s when I decided enough was enough. I stumbled across an opportunity to build an online business, and jumped into it!
It wasn’t easy at first let me tell you, was nervous, skeptical, and unsure if I could make it work. But I took the leap, knowing that if I stayed where I was, nothing would ever change.

Now, I’m no longer entirely tied to someone else’s schedule.
By starting up with my very own business online and building towards being totally self-sufficient and not having to work for anybody else ever again Is what I’m now working towards .
This way, I can spend more moments with my son, going on all of the adventures we’ve talked about, and work from wherever I want, even from somewhere sunny when the UK winter feels too heavy.😕

This year could be your fresh start too.
It certainly won’t be an overnight thing and who knows it might not be even this year when you’re able to throw the towel in, as the get rich really does not exist!!
It also doesn’t matter where you’re starting from, the only thing that really matters is that you make a start!👍

Ever since landing my first job at the local butcher’s at 13, I knew deep down that working for someone else wasn’t my future. Even back then, I could feel that I was meant for something more.🙌

Over the years, I’ve worked in countless roles and been self-employed for the last 15 or so years. While I’ve gained the freedom to choose how, where, and who I work with, the truth is, I still find myself answering to someone else. And I hate it.

New Year’s Eve 2024! 🎉
Is 2025 going to be your year?

As I sit here reflecting on the year, I’m reminded of how different things were for me just a few years ago.

January 2021 was tough. I was sitting at home, stressing away, knowing full well that something had to give. Googling “ways to earn money online,” feeling stuck and unsure about what the future held for myself and my son.
The routine of working long days in construction and barely getting to spend a few hours per day with my boy, we’re really getting to me.
I’d overspent too around Christmas, as everyone does, and the stress of how things were going was really getting me down and eating me alive.

I didn’t have a clue where to turn or what to do, and kept seeing people online selling courses and other things, but with no experience, or barely even posting on social media, I assumed I couldn’t do that.

That night I decided to bite the bullet and reach out to someone who was already doing what I thought I was incapable of. It felt scary to begin but something had to change.

Fast forward to today, and I can honestly say that decision changed my life. I learned how to build a business that fits my life, gives me financial freedom, and allows me to spend more time with my son.

I’m not saying it was all easy. But what I can tell you is that it was worth it.👌

During January 2021, I was sitting at home, googling ways to earn money online.
I didn’t have experience in any type of network marketing or even much of a social media presence.
But I knew I was tired of the same routine, work sleep eat,see my son for a few hours a day and then repeat. That was just enough for me and I desperately wanted a way out.😩

I eventually decided to take a leap of faith, reached out to someone already in this field and simply followed their advice.

Il be honest it was scary to begin with, as I had always grafted and chosen stability over risk.

But that one decision changed my entire life and opened up new doors for me that I never even knew existed.👍

It also taught me that asking for help isn’t a weakness at all, it’s the first step towards growth.🌱

During lockdown, I was working as a subcontractor for a builder.
We were lucky to keep working when so many others were losing their jobs.

At first, I was grateful,
relieved, even to still have an income.

But every day, I watched my son having online lessons, being cared for by my mum.

From the moment we step into school, we're taught to follow instructions, stay in line, and wait our turn.

We're conditioned to live life a certain way.
Study hard, get a job, work a 9-to-5.and retire when we are told
It's a safe path, sure, but is it your path❓️

Straying away from this well-trodden route feels risky, a little like crossing the road without looking left. Everyone’l tells you it’s dangerous, and it is!
