It's good news!! Our tech gremlins have been evicted. Our website is back online and we can reschedule the 1st episode of our new 2 part series. It will be released on Thursday 29th August with the 2nd part the following Thursday, 5th September.
So we are back on track and already working on our next two series 👏👏👏

Well, we've had another busy few weeks. We popped down to South Wales to interview Matt Johnson, a retired Metropolitan Officer and now a very successful author.
The interview went really well and we were grateful to Matt for spending the time with us. His interview will be part of a series which will be released later in the year regarding the murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher back in 1984.

We are working on a podcast series which will be released later in the year about the murder of the Metropolitan Police Officer, Yvonne Fletcher.
We posted some photographs when we attended the 40th Anniversary Memorial Service held on 17th April 2024 in St James Square, London, the place where Yvonne fell.
We were lucky enough to record a few short interviews with those who were serving officers at the time. When we travelled back home that day, we were discussing what a fabulous tribute the service was. We were chatting about the interviews and came up with the idea of a 'pre-episode' for that future series and let our listeners hear those interviews.
'The Murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher: A Pre-episode' will be released tomorrow, 6th June.
We'll let you know when the full series has been completed and when it is due for release, so keep 'em peeled.
We travelled to see Joseph this last weekend. He has a collection of classic police cars and associated exhibits and appears at shows up and down the country sharing his collection.
It was a lovely day and we hope to be teaming up with him and his volunteers at an event we have in the pipeline for Spring 2025 - fingers crossed!!🤞
We've had a busy couple of weeks again, arranging interviews and events and meeting lots of interesting people.
We travelled to Crewe in Cheshire to conduct interviews with two retired police officers who were involved in the case which is subject of our next series due for release next month, a case set in the North West of England.
We were in London yesterday 17th April 2024 to attend the 40th Anniversary Memorial Service for WPC Yvonne Fletcher.
She was amongst a group of officers policing a protest outside No 5 St James Square, which, in 1984, was the Libyan Embassy.
The sound of automatic gunfire rang out as shots were fired from the open first floor windows of the Embassy, toward the protesters in the street below. Amongst the wounded was Yvonne, she had indeed been shot. Her colleagues surrounded her, one of whom was her good friend, PC John Murray.
Yvonne was carried out of the square to protect her from further danger. She was treated in an ambulance and conveyed to hospital accompanied by John, who pledged to find those responsible and bring them to justice.
Sadly, Yvonne lost her fight for life and so started the long journey to keep the promise he had made to his friend. John's fight is not over but he pursues his goal with tenacity, respect and dignity.
Later this year we aim to release a podcast series telling the story not just of the events of that day in 1984 but the circumstances that surrounded it, the search for the truth in the years since and John's persistence in pursuing the murderers.
The memorial service was well attended and the message was, the fight for justice will go on until John has fulfilled his promise to his friend.
What a tribute to Yvonne, the presence of so many paying their respects for an officer on the streets of London working to provide a service to protect the public.
We had a little break over Easter - just a few days, but today we are back at work. 👍
Currently we are making arrangements for interviews in the North West of England for our next compelling series.
Part 2 of 'The Poison Pen Letters: Who and Why? ' is released today. It's a bizarre case. There's strange goings on in rural North Wales. Then in the autumn of 1984 some residents receive some unpleasant, distressing even threatening letters; they are anonymous.
A local Detective is assigned the case to identify the author of the letters. However, what he discovers during his investigation is unexpected and shocking.

Well folks yet another busy weekend. We were at the Pump Room in Buxton again on Friday to present our 'Pottery Cottage Murders' talk. It was another sell out crowd. Thank you to all who came and for your support.
We had some excellent feedback particularly regarding the sensitivity and respect with which we approach and present the subject.
A big thank you to Simon, the CEO of the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust and to his team led on the evening by Kate.
We did take some photographs this time and I will pop them on a post so everyone can see this fabulous venue.

On Saturday, 2nd March, we travelled over to the Robin Hood Inn in Rainow, Cheshire and delivered our talk 'The Pottery Cottage Murders'.
We were so well received and we chatted so much, we forgot to take photos of us with our 'sell out' crowd.
We stayed over, the pub has three well appointed en suite rooms with stunning views. The following morning I took some photos of the room where the talk was delivered. It had all been put back together ready for the days trading but you get an idea of the cosiness and the character of the .
Thank you to the Landlady, Karen, who invited us to present the talk and took care of the publicity and the selling of the tickets. And a big thank you too, to Karen's team for their help.
We truly love this venue and it's lovely location and we have to acknowledge the fabulous welcome that the people of Rainow extended to us. We hope to see you in the Autumn for another talk event. Keep 'em posted!! 😊
We have had such a busy weekend!!
On Friday we were at the Pump Room, The Crescent, Buxton, Derbyshire. It was a sell out gig and we were really looking forward to it. However, we thought we'd never get there as the snow set in.....but thankfully it stopped and the situation improved into the afternoon.
Unfortunately, having recently visited the opticians, I was having a few 'new spectacles' issues. You'll be pleased to know they are all sorted and I can now see the audience, the presentation screen, my notes and John!! Progress!!
So just took a shot of the poster announcing that it was a sell out, as is our next visit to Buxton this coming Friday, 8th March.
Once again, thank you to Kate and her army of volunteers at The Pump Room for hosting a successful evening. See you next Friday and we'll do it all over again. 👍

What an excellent evening we had!
On Saturday 27th January we were at The Glebe Centre in Crich as part of the Crich Live programme of events. We gave our 'Killer at Large' talk, which was very well received.
Just wanted to say thank you to all those who attended, we had some fabulous feedback.
And a big thank you to the organiser, Roger and his team who toiled for hours getting the venue ready for the event and for manning the bar!! They are all volunteers and we are grateful to each and every one of them. 👍

We had a short break from our work on the podcast, or so we thought, this last weekend to attend the Police History Society Annual Conference held at Federation House, Leatherhead, Surrey.
We made some interesting and informative contacts with the potential to lead to future podcast series.........watch this space!!

We have had a busy week doing some research and interviews in North Wales for a forthcoming podcast. We stayed in a hotel by the harbour in Caernarfon. We visited the old Police Station too.
We also spent some time in the Archives Office. A very productive few days 👍
We called into Buxton the other day to check how the tickets were going for our the Wine and True Crime 'Killer at Large' talk at The Pump Room, The Crescent.
