‘Evening Glow at the Guildhall’ ✨

The building that everyone suggested I paint but I put off because of the amount of detailed arches. I finally did it! 🥳💙

As well as reopening the rehearsal studios, as we head out of lockdown, we'll be opening up a brand new daytime, co-working/meeting space, upstairs at Audio Works.

Six desks and all you need for remote working including WiFi, free tea and coffee, a wall mounted screen for presentations, quiet rooms for private calls and a chill out area with kitchen and microwave in an incredible location, 5 minutes from Northampton Station and 7 minutes walk from the town centre.

2 free dedicated parking spaces and additional paid parking nearby, space inside for boards and bikes and food and shops all within walking distance.

Desks will be available to hire by the day, week, month or even annually or you can hold a team meeting and hire the room by the hour, half or full day.

We are very proud of how The Lamplighter team have adapted and changed during these weird times. Changing our usual operating procedures in line with constantly evolving government guidelines has been a huge challenge for us and for everybody in our industry. We really feel for all of those other pubs, cafes and restaurants who like us, are all adapting whilst trying their upmost to retain jobs for their staff and protect their businesses.
•
Our staff - past and present - have all contributed in making The Lamp a warm, friendly and welcoming place to be, so a big thank you to you all. Hospitality not only provides a great starting point in people’s career - whether they remain in hospitality or not - but also has major benefits in their personal development, where many lifelong skills are learned. The importance of protecting this industry mustn’t go overlooked.
•
We also feel for those in the arts and creative industries and hope things can improve very soon for those sectors too. We are slowly returning to having events starting with laid-back DJ sessions on Saturdays, but we cant wait to return to hosting live music, comedy and providing space for music and community groups sometime soon
•
We have been overwhelmed by the support and good wishes from you all since we reopened in July, so thank you to you all. The Lamplighter family owned independent business and you’ve helped it become such a great place for those reasons already mentioned

Supporting and paying back into our local economy has always been at the core of what we do, by working with independent local producers and suppliers over the last 11 years. We intend to continue doing so 🍺
