@longheadsmusic are a five piece psych rock band taking influence from modern psych, stoner doom, kraut rock and 70s proto-metal. This mesh of genres comes through in their brain bending compositions and mind melting live performances.
Longheads are building a name for themselves as an impressive live act and have previously supported fellow stoner rockers Slift and King Buffalo. Longheads treated gig goes to a show stopping Desertfest debut last year and are showing no signs of slowing down.
Having been recently signed to Stolen Body records their debut album ‘Layers of Wax’ has just released to widespread acclaim. The project takes the sound they developed on their last EP ‘Mars Doesn’t Feel Like Home Anymore’ and pushes it in a heavier direction incorporating elements of early metal and stoner doom, while still maintaining the psychedelic essence.
