Where our sheep fleece rugs come from 🐑

My parents beautiful farm in south east Kent where my dad, who became a shepherd in his retirement - much to everyone’s surprise, rears a small flock of Shetland sheep on 40 acres of flat chalk grassland. Not for meat, he won’t eat his pets. just for the pleasure, the love of the land and the company of his sheep. In fact several of his sheep are from his original flock when he started 10 years ago. He makes every effort to sell his sheep for breeding when he needs to reduce his numbers or buy new sheep and his rams go over to neighbouring flocks to reproduce.

Here I am on my wedding day with the affectionately named sheep Mrs.Desperate. Why? Because she’s always the first one to come up to you and desperately climb on you for sheep nuts. A bit of love for Mrs.Desperate 🙌❤️

I took this little lad to the woolshed today to meet the lovely Della, the powerhouse behind Kent’s only mini mill.

It was amazing to see her mill, learn about wooly processes and discuss my plans with our wool.

Here’s Jackson modelling one of ‘s dog coats which not only fits him perfectly but is beautiful made and super sustainable too ❤️🙌

Beautiful Lake Como 🌊

Boat trip , Tremezzo

We took a half day self drive boat tour on the lake so we could enjoy time just us on the water. The team set us up with one of their Italian made brand new speed boats (in a classic style). We were offered a map with the lake highlights & chose our itinerary. We got to pretty high speeds (keeping to the limit!) and saw so many beautiful villas.

The lake was so quiet as well, sometimes we just stopped, engine off and relaxed on the big sun deck 🌞✌️

We didn’t make it to Clooney’s house but apparently we’d just missed him anyway 😜 sorry 🥲

We went back to happy that night and hungry for dinner on Como’s best terrace!

It was the best day out 🇮🇹

Going Greek
Chapel Street, Guildford town centre

A beautiful modern Greek restaurant in a converted hall / chapel with exposed brick, original beams and modern / minimalist art decorating the walls.

It was sophisticated, elegant yet the atmosphere was inviting and laid back like you had just walked into an old Greek friend’s taverna.

We received top notch service and warm Greek hospitality from the restaurant manager who couldn’t do enough for us. He even shared some interesting information on how some of the dishes were made - ‘the Greek way’ 😋

Highly recommend if you’re in Guildford, Surrey.

Honeymoon in Italy pt.1 ✨

Flying with Hilton Lake Como ✈️ 🌊

The hotel offers seaplane flights with the the oldest seaplane operation in the world - the Aero Club Como. And the club is right opposite the hotel so you can watch the seaplanes take off & land too 😎

From here, you can enjoy a 30-40 minute flight over Lake Como and on a clear day, imagine the views!

We had the pleasure of shooting with a beautiful Cessna seaplane at the Aero Club.

About this weekend 🥰

Seb’s family hosted a wedding party for us in their garden with lots of friends & family.. it was so beautiful, relaxed and lots of delicious food 💕

On Sunday, we visited Brighton for pop-up where I bought a beaut blazer. We ate pizza, went to the pier and hit some rides & got some ice cream .icecream 🍦 as per chef ’s recommendation in his article for Brush last month (honeycomb caramel - the house flavour was amazing!!)

What a way to end the summer! 💕🎈🍊🍋
