About Chris
In 2019, Chris graduated from Stranmillis University and was elected as the Student Union President. As President, Chris started Stran TV; a Student-ran TV channel which aims to bring the engagement of staff & students closer together at the college. In December 2019, the first episode of Stran TV was aired as Chris interviewed Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody. Chris’s time as Student Union President came to an end in May 2020 as his team was awarded ‘The Small SU Team of the Tear 2019/2020’. Since leaving Stranmillis, Chris has become a content creator developing a youtube channel called ‘Against The Odds’. In ‘ATO’, Chris travels around Northern Ireland completing many different challenges and inspiring young people in to get out of their comfort zone and go against the odds. Chris has a big heart to make a difference through media as he’s passionate to see young people achieve. Chris has experience in presenting and can create professional promotional videos (is a qualified drone pilot) for companies and individuals.
