Little team meeting today with at

You’ve got to get a cheeky product shot when our front covers look that good!

Only one copy of issue 22 left and then it’s gone!

Every article in issue 21 was written by someone in the industry, and we only interviewed those who were a part too. As a team at BM HQ with no personal knowledge or experience of the industry, we took a step back to let those who live, eat and breath it share their knowledge and expertise.

26/01/2023

Reissuing issue 21 into print was something we had wanted to do for a long time. Not only because the messages given throughout the issue are close to our own hearts, but because the messages are important.
Now we all know, a lot of the topics in this issue are flagged on this platform, so if you want to read the unfiltered interviews from the likes of , , as well as

Our in-house writer spoke with Sarah O'reilly and Terri Fierce all about nutrition and how to give our bodies the fuel it requires to help us with pole and any aerial arts. I don't know about you, but I have always found it difficult to work out what my body wants and needs and especially when going to back to back classes, and I can really struggle to find something that's not only quick and easy, but also full of nutrients to correctly give my body the energy to get through all the classes.

Chatting to Sarah and Terri (Along with Lauren in a sperate interview) We chatted about tips and tricks, with a idea of adding to your meals without that horrible discussion of diets (We hate diets here!)
Check it out in issue 14, available digitally and in print from Wednesday

Issue 14 available to buy digitally now. Print coming later this week
In this issue, our writer Indah, interviewed Terri Fierce and Sarah O'Reilly from Fierce Fitness as well as Lauren Owens, discussing everything to do with nutrition. We’re looking for this to be a regular section in the future, so any questions we’ve not answered please send our way and we will do our best to get these all answered for you. Eilish is back, talking us through the most painful pole move she has ever attempted (so far), something I think we can all sympathise with! Our ask Chloe section is a little different this month, with Chloe talking us through everything you need to know about Sports Massage, and why it is important to find a good sports massage therapist. A new section started this month called Let's talk, with this month being all about the different types of grips aids. We have a guest writer this month called Guillermo who wrote all about Injuries & Mental Health, a repeated but still incredibly important topic. Finally, to truly appreciate the fact that we are now in Spring, we interviewed Bob Cartwright, who is the owner of Lightstories Photography and Video. Bob is best known for the incredible only purpose built outdoor fixed rig where he produces beautiful images of aerialists on a variety of apparatus.

We’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of the alternative origin of our magazine name and step away from the pole and aerial world, into the world of cocktails.

BrassMonkey is a rum and vodka based drink with orange juice, something we think is a great inspiration for a new start.

Issue 13 is out now available in digital or pre-order print.

In this issue, Lauren Hunt showcases some of her work for the first time, with a little interview talking about her journey as a dance photographer and how she enjoys making the most of her local countryside. We have a guest writer - Aimee, who wrote about her anorexia recovery through aerial arts. Please note there is a trigger warning with this article as we do discuss eating disorders and exercise addiction. Indah is back talking about the different pole wear, helping you guide through the world of pole clothing. Chloe guides us on the difference between stretching and strengthening, which one we should concentrate on more and when it is appropriate to do what. This is such an important topic, and one we raised to Chloe during a group meeting. Finally Eilish talks about the difference between training with your pole pals vs training alone.
