Hello!! Happy Monday 👋 It’s been a while since I checked in!!

Today has been the Mondayiest Monday ever, I woke up to my phone screen completely broken (through no fault of mine I would like to add 🙃) so I had to go and pay for it to be replaced - nightmare! But it’s all done and dusted so hopefully it will be smoother sailing this week!

I’ve been soooo busy the past few months with lots of lovely weddings (see photo attached 🥰🌹) so I’ve been finding it hard to find time to create content here and for my food page - 🍔

How has everyone’s summer been so far? It feels super quiet in London (apart from in the city of course) and I’m just assuming everyone is off on their summer holidays!

Looking into next week - when I turn the big 3 0 🫠🫠🫠

I’ve been feeling like I should have achieved so much more, should have run a marathon, climbed Everest or bought a house! 🥲

But in reality, I need to remember that although it is a huge milestone, nothing is actually going to change, and I just want to count my blessings for the great 30 years I’ve lived, and I’m very excited to see what my thirties brings!

I am going in and out of being scared of this new chapter, but I hope I’m going in feeling more confident in myself, who I am, what I can achieve, and how anything is possible if I put my mind to it!

3 THINGS YOU CAN DO TODAY TO LEVEL UP YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA RIGHT NOW! 👏

✨ optimise your bio. Remove any irrelevant info, make sure it’s clear who you are, what you do, and what your service is for. There needs to be a link to your paid offer.

✨do some reels research (write down a list of trends and adapt them to fit your niche), plan 3 pieces of promotional content and three pieces of VALUABLE educational content

✨ plan a collaboration with someone relevant to you! One of the best ways to reach new audiences is to create content with a social media pal.

Are you showing enough of your face on social media?! 👀 I’ve done a few audits recently and a common theme is that people just aren’t being present on their own feed.

People are buying from YOU! YOU are your business, the products you sell and services you offer come from your heart, so what’s the point in promoting your business without showing off that gorgeous smiling face?! 🫶

If you are shy, or struggling for inspo, here are some content ideas to show your face:

- Behind-the-scenes: Share candid moments from your day-to-day life, whether it’s preparing for a project, enjoying your hobbies, or moments of relaxation. These posts can humanise your brand and make you more relatable to your followers.

- Selfies with a story: Take selfies and accompany them with captions that tell a story or share an interesting fact about yourself. This can help your followers get to know you better and feel more connected to you.

- Product demonstrations: If you’re promoting a product or service, create videos or posts where you demonstrate how to use it.

- Personal updates: Share updates about your life, such as milestones, achievements, or challenges you’re facing. Your followers will appreciate your honesty and authenticity.

Professional pink house spotters don’t even take time off while they are holiday 💅🏻💞

Had a fab weekend away in Copenhagen! Always struggle a to get back into the swing of things after a holiday, even if it was just a few days! But I’ve got a few ways I help myself get organised:

- big breakfast with plenty of protein to fuel me for the day
- morning walk to boost my mood, this is also such a good time to think clearly about my week and what I need to prioritise today
- write a list! I would never survive without my lists, then I can understand what needs to be ticked off
- ASMR on my airpods, this really helps me focus but also not get distracted by TikTok, or other things going on in the house
- lighting a vanilla candle for a nice relaxing work atmosphere 🥰

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Okay yes, it’s the third but 2024 has been calling and I’m finally ready to pick up 🙃

Did everyone have a lovely Christmas and New Year? Mine has been B U S Y 🐝 but I’ve loved every minute of it.

It took me a hot minute to figure out what my first post of the year should be, and I think it simply just has to be my ins and outs for this year!! Let’s do this:

IN:

- Coaching (for me anyway) i love working with people one-on-one!! Managing accounts is always going to be my favourite part, but there’s just something special about helping people gain clarity on their biz.
- Getting out my home office more! I do love days at my lil desk, but it’s good to move, feel inspired and spend time working with other freelancers.
- tea!! i’ve been getting way too into coffee lately and it truly does nothing for me anymore. Green or peppermint tea all the way.
- Very cold swimming!! I did actually start this last year, but I need to continue into 2024 for sure.

OUT:

- saying sorry online!! ‘Sorry this post is so late’ ‘sorry i haven’t posted in ages’ - it’s very much okay and i’m sure nobody’s feelings are hurt
- writing up content on the day of posting (woops) I feel like i’ve been getting less and less organised as time goes by, and i would never dream of not batch creating this time last year, so i’m making a bigger commitment to get better at this.
- Late nights of mindless scrolling. No need to elaborate on this.
- Saying yes to every single social plan. I dont have to do everything, I’ll survive.
- Undervaluing my work. It’s time to recognise my worth!

You need to respond to comments, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations, which helps to foster a sense of trust and connection - these are the people who are interested in what you are up to and will ultimately engage with your content every time!! 🤝

When you create a community around your brand, you're more likely to develop a loyal following. People who feel connected to your content are more likely to become long-term followers and potential clients!

Your community can provide valuable feedback on your content, services, and products. This can help you refine your offerings and better meet the needs of your audience.

A community can also provide networking opportunities. You can connect with other professionals in your field or related fields, which can lead to collaborations and potential partnerships! 🥰

In summary: Don’t forget to be engaging with the people you follow and the people that follow you - you won’t grow without them!
