Hello Everyone again

I am pleased to let you know that the September Tickled Squirrel is now online. Sadly, though, this will probably be the last edition. I have worked hard to try to promote it, but as a free magazine I have not been able to spend money on increasing the circulation. I know many of you have re-posted on social media, but the number of readers has stayed stubbornly too low to make the amount of work needed to produce it each month worthwhile.

Should reader numbers increase this month, I will certainly reconsider this decision, but for now, I hope you enjoy this issue.

Hi Everyone

Another month has passed already and we are just about to tip into August, hopefully we might see some sun soon.

This month's magazine is now online and there are some changes:

* A random selection of small advertisements now appear above each article, hopefully this might help the businesses in these trying times.

* All ads can now be clicked on to link to the advertisement on the Tickled Squirrel website.

* There are now Previous and Next buttons on each page so you can browse through the articles if you wish.

Hello again

I am pleased to let you know that the May 2023 Tickled Squirrel is now online for you.

This month sees a big change to the magazine. I have always wanted the magazine to be easily readable on all the different devices that people read it on. Last month I added the option to download articles as pdfs to read using Adobe's Liquid mode, but this month I have adopted an online approach where the entire magazine is now online just as any website would be.

You can read articles by selecting them from the menu as you wish.

On small screen devices such as smartphones and tablets, it is best to read in portrait mode. Accompanying photos are at the bottom of the text.

Adverts are randomly chosen and are placed below the article.

I hope you find the change useful and that you enjoy the magazine.

I am pleased to let you know that the March Tickled Squirrel is now online. This month there is an extra feature which will make reading the magazine articles easy, on even a small screen like a smartphone. At the bottom of each article page, you will now see a button Article View. Clicking on this will download the article as a pdf file. If you have installed the Adobe pdf reader (a free app easily installed) on your device and use this to open the file (you will be offered the option as it downloads) you will see a small blue water drop at the top of the screen.
Clicking on this will start fluid mode and the pdf will act like an eBook, with flowing text and the option to change its size. You can also set this to be the default mode for opening pdfs. Please let me know if you use this feature and how you find it to work for you.

Hello Again

On the 1st February 2023 Tickled Squirrel will be back online again. With all the problems in the world right now, the cost-of-living crisis and the ridiculously hiked energy prices, the magazine is coming back. Advertising will still be completely free, even the design of the ad if needed.

So if you or anyone you know has a need to advertise, then please get in touch, ideally by email to [email protected]

I will be sending out a newsletter to everyone on the mailing list but I know this will not be complete as several names were lost, so if you don't receive the newsletter, please go to our website, https://tickledsquirrel.com click on the Newsletter menu and add your name and email address.
