What a great story from Satterthwaites Bakehouse below… don’t forget your Crosby loyalty card for 10% in the bakery all day, every day!!!

We often hear from lovely customers who miss our bakery and have moved away. One customer Tara who now lives in New Zealand told us about her great gran, Lily May.
Having moved away, every time she visited the UK she would come into Satterthwaites and buy 4 dozen or so iced buns. She called them cakey buns 😊 and she would freeze them and put them in her suitcase to bring home to her grand daughter because she loved them. So here is a picture of the ‘cakey buns’ as promised!

Hello everyone!

It's finally Friday yay! 🥰

Today I thought I would share with you a little update on the Instagram algorithm 😊.

So how can you do your best to support a small business?

Likes aren't as important as they used to be, they still help accounts get noticed, but how can you help small accounts even more?

1) SAVE 🔖
The little bookmark button at the bottom right of a post is one of the most important buttons on Instagram. Saves notify the Instagram algorithm that an account is worth reaching to more people.

2) SHARE 📣
Sharing other people's accounts and posts on your stories is another way you can help out small businesses and accounts. Don't forget to tag the account you are sharing too so the account gets notified ♥️.

3) COMMENT 💬
Comments are great to interact with the business owners or small accounts. You can use comments to ask questions, engage in conversation and let people know if you like a post/product. They are also another way to show that an account is worth being put infront of more people on Instagram.

4) LIKE
And finally, even though saving, sharing and commenting are more important, don't forget to double tap on a post and leave a like 💕.

Likes let us small accounts & businesses know that you have seen the post.

Did you know, only about 10% of an account's following actually see a post. That means only 70 (approx.) accounts that follow me will see this post 😭.

The algorithm sucks, but by saving, sharing, commenting and liking posts you will be helping small businesses' & accounts get noticed ❤️!

Posted • Eeeeek!!! We are so excited here at Immy and Fi, we have some gorgeous stock coming over the next couple of weeks!!!

One of our favourites is this beautiful Moonie night light and humming friend. It is the PERFECT companion for your tired little baby, as it plays natural pink noise from a mummy's tummy 🤍 helping them to calm down and fall asleep. This soft bunny also loves a good squeeze. A mummy's dream!!!
