PAM September issue and New Books for Telford

You must love the Hornet

The latest September issue with the F/A-18 on the cover went on pre-order two weeks ago and were dispatched this morning to subscribers and customers from the website. But due to demand we only have 12 copies left and it is not economic to do a second run. So be warned if you want this issue order fast.

And we hope this love affair with Hornets last as we have two new books on the type ready for Telford.

Currently in proof reading stage is the Hornet Legacy F/A-18A/B/C/D and ATARS Hornet in our top of the range Red Series. As soon as we have a confirmed print date for this one we will open preorders but I expect it to be second week of October.

Then cutting it very tight for Telford will be another title covering the Super Hornet variants E/F and the Growler. This will be in the Blue series and price to be confirmed though we will try our best to keep this under £20. More detail on this one once we have proofs ready.

Phoenix Aviation Modeller Sept Issue and Tornado Book Updates

I said when we opened Pre-Orders that I was unsure of dates but I can now confirm.

The next issue of PAM will be despatched to subscriber and Pre-order Customers on the 30th August. Slightly later than normal due to the late summer Bank Holiday.

Number 7 in the Red Series on the Panavia Tornado has started selling very quickly and just a week after opening Pre-Orders 72% of the production run has been sold.
This title has 160 pages and is the largest title in the series to date and we have managed to keep the price the same as the
F-105 Thunderchief , F-15 Eagle.
We now have final proofs so I have added a few pages to this post.
This is expected to us on the 11th September and will be dispatched to all preorder customers the next day as well as sending our stock over to the Czech Republic for E-Day at the end of the month.

Another title we released earlier this year is now low stock. But it has now become available in Digital Format as are all our out of print books.

And right after they have left our new red. series on the Tornado will be released. We have now crammed in the fighter variants too and of course it will also have our digital extras feature which means we can add updates at no extra cost to the customer.

Subscribers Notice
All August subscriptions and pre-orders have left the building. We are a little bit behind this month due to us having to delay the magazines arrival till I was back from the US Natinals.

Due to our trip to the US Nationals in Madison we are a bit late posting this. But the August issue is due to us on Tuesday and will be in the post to subscribers at 8AM on Wednesday morning.

We also now have very few copies left of our books on RAF Phantoms, B-57 & Fighter Canopy Canberras. A second run of the F-4 may happen but it is unlikely we will produce any more of the Canberra one sold out.
Finally the new F-15 Eagle is selling fast and at the moment I am not sure we will have any left for Telford! You have been warned 😲

The Eagle has landed and all pre-orders have been posted. I am off to the US Nationals on Monday so you have to 6pm Sunday to place an order and I will drop them into the Post Office on my way out of the country.
We will be closed for 10 Days orders placed after Sunday will have a delay in postage.

Due on Friday is the latest in our Red Series on the F-15 Eagle. This is going to be launched at the US Nationals at Madison, Wi. Preorders received by 6pm Sunday the 14th will be posted on Monday 15th so UK customers should get them the same day the book is launched America.

PAM JULY ISSUE IN STOCK

All subscribers and Pre-order copies will be in the post on Friday Morning. All order placed by 8am Monday will be in post at 10am.

BUT TWO WARNINGS

We are out of office again from Monday 1st July till Monday 7th July.

The second warning is due to the US Nationals we will be away agin 15th to 23rd.

And a caution as we have sent 50% of our normal surplus of the July issue to Madison Wi for our stand at the US Nationals it is highly likily that this issue may sell out before the August issue is here.

Its Eagle Time

For release at the US Nationals in Madison from 17th to 19th July.

Now available to pre-order and will be dispatched on the 15th of July before we head for the show.

I will have your order on the stand for the first two days of the show.

We will also have a few out of stock titles that have been stored in the USA since last year at San Marcos including both F-16 titles and the USAF Phantom White series. These will be sold on a first come first served basis.

At the Sailsbury model show this Saturday it may be your last chance to buy Canberra Volumes 1 and Sea King as stock is very low.

Just set up Modelkraft what a nice menu and large layout 4 halls in 3 building with another hall not being used this year plus a large cafeteria. Only managed to get in two hall but give you an idea and great new venue 80 clubs 30 traders all profits to charity.

July PAM an update “We have a Plan” for ModelKraft

Next Saturday we are displaying at the Modelkraft show in Milton Keynes and a week later on Saturday the 1st of June at the Sailsbury show.

As well as out two new books on the F-105 Thunderchief and the U-2 Dragon Lady the printers are going to bring the production of Junes issues of PAM Forward by a week so we should have the latest issue on sale as well as all our in stock back issues.

Packed the brim with new articles including builds of the recent Airfix B-24 in 1/72 scale and Eduards new 1/48 scale P-51B.

The U-2 Book and Junes magazine are now available to pre-order on the website and subscribers copies and preorders for both books and magazines will be dispatched to customers on Tuesday 28th May.

If any subscriber wants to collect their copy of the magazine at Modelkraft we will have the subscribers list with us so this is possible. As is extending any subscriptions due to expire as well being able purchase new subscriptions to get 12 issues for the price of 10 with free postage. And offer that may not last much longer due to the rise in postage.
