thankfully my sunburn is not noticeable in this photo. it’s been a while since i’ve been in front of the camera and i need to start doing it more often.

i won’t post many photos from the coast path walk as i barely took any. i’m experimenting a Portra 400 look, i want to try the actual film stock but got to decide whether to splurge for it or not.

although shooting from the beach is a good place to get surf photos without getting wet. i wish i went a bit in the water to try and get closer up photos. maybe i’ll try another time but for now the surf series are on a pause.

i think it’s time i got more photos of myself at locations!

in one of the courses by it taught me to make a story with images i took on a trip. so on this trip to watergate i wanted to photograph a intro (1), a transition (2), details (3), transition (4) and then ending (5) which signifies the final surf at the end of the evening with the rich sunset oranges.

after taking photos of surfers down at godrevy with the 55-200mm. i wanted to try again but closer to get more surfers actually surfing and not just bobbing in the water. fortunately, we got a nice patch of wonderful weather and so i headed to watergate bay. coming home with 700+ photos and then selecting only 80 was a great result.

quite glad i got out on sunday and monday when the weather happened to be the best, as now the weather isn’t the nicest. so i think i’ll be waiting to go back out.

out of all the photos i took of godrevy lighthouse, the one furthest away is my favourite. this is probably because the light is ✨amazing✨ but composition is interesting too.

bedruthan was beautiful, the cornish coast has never been a disappointment. i’m happy with the images i have taken and i hope the people who see this too will like what i have done!
