I’m excited to share a special project close to my heart. I’ve had the privilege of helping to launch my friends handmade gift business. I've helped name her brand, designed her logo and set up her page. She’s starting out with beautiful wax melts and candles, she popped by with some testers yesterday and they look and smell lovely! 🕯️✨

This isn’t just any business; it’s a labour of love and determination. Cheryl is living (her best life) with terminal breast cancer, and her story behind this venture is incredibly inspiring.

My hubby and son have started a small grass-cutting business, and I came up with the perfect name: The Lawn Barbers. I also designed the logo and set up their page. Really pleased with how this little project turned out!

Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

I would give anything to spoil my beautiful Mam today..this is the 4th Mothers Day without her.

I hope she knew how loved and appreciated she was and how much of an inspiration she was and still is to me.

She battled her Cancer with dignity and right until the end thought of everyone before herself! She was the bravest woman I know, I know she’d disagree but she was to me!

We never got to have that big cuddle we said we'd have and now I can't remember when I hugged her for the last time…gawd this is emotional! 🥹

I miss her random texts with loads of emojis🤣
Taking her shopping
Afternoon teas
Sunday lunch and our little walk out on an afternoon
Our chats…especially the ones where she's twisting about people at work haha!
Just knowing she was there.
Her advice and her reminding me to not forget things…

Christmas, even though she was at work for most of them!

It’s been lovely talking about my Mam and I'm now in floods of tears 😭 She was the best and I miss her sooo much, so if you're blessed to still have your Mam in your life give her the biggest hug and spoil her rotten! You think your Mam will always be here…i know my Mam is still with me and I remember her every time I forget to pick up my phone and keys 🔑 “have you got everything?” 😂

Well that turned into a bit of a therapy session...have a lovely day everyone..and thinking of those of you who also find today challenging xx

A bit of a personal post…
On this World Cancer Day I'm sharing this piccie of my beautiful mam who passed away with Ovarian Cancer April 2020 after a 3 year battle! I miss her everyday! 💔 My Dad battled bowel cancer and got the all clear after some major operations and treatment, relatives who've also passed with prostate cancer, friends who have battled through and living with breast cancer.

So today I want to say f**k you cancer, I've had enough of you tearing so many families apart! 🤬

Sending love and hugs to everyone who has been affected by this cruel disease! ❤️X

As we wave goodbye to 2023, I'm reflecting on an incredible year, filled with exciting challenges and rewarding collaborations. Continuing to manage the social media presence for Hinson Security and Gym has been a journey I've absolutely loved, and I'm deeply grateful for the trust they've placed in my creative hands. 🤝

In 2024, I'm looking forward to new collaborations. From social media clients to website and branding projects, there's a whole spectrum of exciting ventures on the horizon.

A personal commitment for the new year: I promise to give my own business the attention it deserves. Expect regular updates as we embark on this journey together. Here's to building on the successes of the past and embracing the fresh possibilities that 2024 holds!
