Ahead of the very first Torbay Invitational tomorrow, I’m happy to share the logo design that we worked on in November last year ☺️

The design needed to compliment the brands of both and as they will all be frequently seen together, so a colour palette and styles were designed accordingly.

Because the Invitational is a sailing event, we wanted to embody styles that are familiar in the sailing industry. This meant opting for bold colours & retro shapes!

We can’t wait to be involved tomorrow 🥳 🌞

is up & running 🩵 My sister in law decided to use her pup as the face of her new dog care & walking business and I’m soo there for it! When Harriet explained to me a clear vision of how she wanted her branding to be, I was so excited to bring it to life 🤩

Flyer Design completed last week & it’s safe to say her brand is completely set up 🥳 There’s nothing I love more than seeing a perfectly established brand identity, and Norby’s Paws definitely got that memo!

You may have seen that has launched her rebrand and I’m SO EXCITED to finally share it with you 🥰

Leanne is already a very well established Personal Trainer in the bay (not to mention a bit of a legend! 🤩) She had a solid recognisable brand & colour palette that was strong, but she felt it was outdated and time for a refresh. It was daunting to begin with because it wasn’t immediately clear to me how I’d want to improve it, but that’s what makes my work so exciting 😍

Firstly, it was important to me that we kept the brand colours & the signature ‘L’ because these were recognisable features. I wanted to introduce a new colour to her palette that added some warmth as her two primary colours were colder tones. I also wanted to develop a new font that plays with her personality. At the end of the day, Leanne IS her brand - she’s bubbly & bright, and her font needed to represent that too!

I developed some brand patterns using the ‘L’ feature whilst also creating a smaller visual motif that’s seen across her rebrand. Her deliverables consisted of multiple colour variations of primary, secondary and submark designs; so she’ll always have the same brand but has different variations of her logo suitable for different purposes!

I’m super pleased to see it’s had an awesome response 🥰 I can’t wait to see how Leanne continues to use it!

☀️ OUT OF OFFICE ☀️

I'm away from my desk for an extended break! This is the first time I've taken more than a week off since I started in 2019 😲 & to be honest I'm really really ready for it.

Thanks to my contracted clients for being so understanding in the lead up to my time away. I'll be ready to the hit the ground running as soon as I return with some exciting projects lined up 😛

Happy New Year 💫

I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with some wicked people this year & also starting some new projects 🤩 Who knows what’s in the pipeline!

Having finalised the rebrand for in December; working on signage design, membership cards, merchandise design & much much more, it’s so exciting to see it all physically come to life.

The unit has had a HUGE glow up during the Christmas break & it seriously looks epic 🖤

There’s so much that goes into Brand Design. It’s what I’ve been preaching for a long time now & thanks to the Diverse team, they gave me the platform to let my creativity fly 🌟 it’s been so great collaborating with you on this ☺️

Dear lovely clients 🌟

Starting 2nd January 2024, I will be implementing a small price increase to my services.

I’m grateful that 2023 has been a great year for me and will become my fifth year as a freelance creative. I have continued to develop great relationships with contracted clients, as well as completed many exciting projects. Having said this, my pricing has remained the same for over 2 years. In order to continue my high quality and consistent level of service that I provide for my clients, my pricing should reflect my continuing progression of skill.

This change will affect any new project that is accepted after the date stated above; both old and new clients will be affected. This change will not impact any current ongoing projects.

I will ensure to personally notify my clients of this change via email.

It’s officially public knowledge 🥳 are undergoing a huge transformation!

I was lucky enough to be asked to design the rebrand 🤩

I’m super proud of this project. I’ve been working with at Diverse for a couple of years now & I’ve become a huge advocate for this gym, its members and its ethos. So when Ross told me he was bringing in Alex to take on ownership of Diverse I was immediately excited to see what the future held 👏🏽

Being asked to design the rebrand meant I was able to use everything I know and feel about Diverse to create something that I felt truly reflected this space. It doesn’t just end with a logo design, it never does. We’ve been working really hard in collaboration to create a whole new identity; from signage to apparel, internal stickers & even more that we haven’t even started yet 🙈

This project has been super fast paced with clear deadlines & it’s definitely kept me on my toes 🤭

Can’t wait to see what Diverse will bring in 2024!

Product photography for whose absolutely killing it with her new business 😍

Jodie started her jewellery business in June! She had already come up with her brand so I assisted her in ensuring the design was in a vector format so it’s easily manageable for designers. We then also worked on print design to accompany her packaging such as care cards & thank you card so the customer journey is even sweeter 🥰

We then planned her first product photoshoot with some stunning pieces ready to launch her brand.

Fast forward a couple months and she’s already close to 3k followers on Insta! 😍

I loved coming here for an Art A-Level school trip with TBGS a few years ago & this time it was so nice to take my camera with me 🤍 Barcelona is such a beauty!

In June I onboarded James and Sam from to re-design the brand for their well established scheme, Surfwell.

Surfwell, as seen on a BBC documentary, was established as a surf therapy scheme to help emergency service workers with PTSD and trauma by using natural cold water & talking as an aid whilst learning to surf 🏄🏼‍♀️

The scheme was already well established so I was tasked to work with the brand as a known entity, to design a brand that is simple but well thought out, flexible & will stand the test of time!

When it came to the actual design we floated around various concepts to begin with, and when we decided on the final primary font and main design, I began the tweaking! Multiple variations later we finally nailed it down! 🥳

🩵 The colour palette resembles the colours found in the original logo, to ensure that people who already know about the scheme will understand that it’s still the same, just refreshed!
🩵 The attention to detail with the flicks in the L’s resemble a wave pattern, but we made sure that the pattern remained realistic
🩵 the submark continues the wave pattern found within the main logo, so it’s all cohesive
🩵 Monochrome variations of the brand were created for times when the blue gradient may not be necessary

And that’s it ☺️ some lovely collaboration later & a new brand was born!

I’ve been receiving more enquiries about my Design services so I thought I’d re-introduce my Brand Design for the newbies here ✨

My BRAND DESIGN service is a full discovery process from top to bottom. When a client approaches me for brand design I work through three processes with them: Discovery, Design, Deliverables.

Within my Brand Design package you can expect:
💫 Moodboards
💫 Colour Palette establishment
💫 Primary, Secondary & Submark Design
💫 All formats of your logo (including vector) supplied

Without getting too detailed, I believe in ensuring clients are supplied with high quality & unique brands that have been personally designed to suit the requirements & personality of their business.

Brand Design is not a ‘one size fits all’. It’s impossible these days to get away with just one logo for all of your brand assets. That’s why I design three variations. Take the design for for example 🥰

If I have one piece of advice: steer clear of logo templates that you can purchase online for cheap. These are not unique and you’ll be supplied low quality formats. You won’t be directly linked with a designer that can rectify your problems. It’s just not worth it.
