At the election on July 4th you will need identification. Chances are locals will be running the polling station BUT despite knowing you all your life they are going to have to ask for photo id. So please don’t be offended but do be prepared to show voter id.

I have been asked to post this and like most of you probably think it is a barrier to voting and not needed in a small community BUT that’s the way it’s going to be so don’t forget your id.

CVCT HELP NEEDED URGENTLY
We are all grateful for the community bus. Many of us use it to go to CD and many more enjoy the regular outings. Community Groups also hire the bus on a regular basis. HOWEVER, VOLUNTEER DRIVERS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED. Many of the current drivers are reaching the upper age limit for driving the bus and unless more step forward there is a real danger that commitments cannot be met. PLEASE IF YOU CAN DRIVE CONSIDER DRIVING FOR CVCT. Appeals have gone out in the past but there is now a real danger of us having a bus with no driver. SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY AND BECOME A VOLUNTEER DRIVER NOW.
