One year ago today, my first track got released, which was the start of a journey I never set out to achieve, let alone anticipate. 12 months later and 13 releases - it's been an absolute blast.
Thank you to all those who have supported my music, I'm eternally grateful to every one of you and always will be.
However, there is one person who deserves a MASSIVE thank you and HUGE credit, as without him this would never have been possible. Thank you Brent Rix, such a great guy whom I spent many months with learning from. Also, an excellent engineer and producer. If you can write music, but want to learn more on how to finish songs, or need engineering/mastering, then this is the man :).
For me, this was never about signing to labels, it was and still is all about making music that I enjoy and escapism from the world and I've been fortunate to get to know so many great people along this short journey who have given me guidance and encouragement. Despite being told the tunes I was making would not resonate with todays audience, or the boundaries in trance have been pushed etc, for me it proves that music has no boundaries, it never has had boundaries and boundaries don't need to be pushed. Since the beginning of time - music has been based on a rhythmic pattern of sounds and usually a beat - all across the world. We all just want to connect with what we hear and I can look back with pride that hopefully, someone, somewhere, my music may have made a positive difference to their life.
Thank you for your support and here is to the next 12 months :).
