The absolutely stunning Thorp Perrow parkrun was our parkrun of choice this morning 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️ and what a beauty it is!

It was our second visit this morning, and Rachel’s first. A safe bet as ice rarely stops a trail run, and it’s an absolutely stunning course - whatever the weather!

A lovely morning was had, thank you to Pete the RD for making us feel super welcome! It was lovely to meet and chat to subscriber Steve and his wife, and catch up with lovely longtime subscriber Kendra too 💙 alongside lots of other super friendly faces along the way 💕 (video coming soon!)

The perfect way to kick off 2025, and a delicious breakfast at .kitchen to round off the morning 😋

After missing New Year’s Day parkrun due to a very poorly dog 🐶 we’re pleased to say he’s on the mend 🥰 and we’re ready to kick off the new year in style!

As 2024 draws to a close and 2025 moves in, we just want to say thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey so far…

In 2025 we promise we won’t change 😉 we’ll still be chasing goals, touring parkruns, we’ll stay silly and we’ll continue to take you with us as our T2R journey continues! 💙

Run Eat Sleep Landmarks Challenge 2024!

What a great morning! We linked up with Runners Connect Community, but unfortunately Freddy couldn’t make it due to a poorly dog 🥹 - so it was Scott representing the RCC! 🙌🏻

Route plotted, we headed towards Souter Lighthouse to face the challenge, finding 20 Landmarks this year, including lots of new options!

Thankfully this year we found the elusive white horse much quicker than in 2023 😅

We finished 25/60 and ran 10.93 miles - not too shabby for three idiots with poor geography 🤣

Thanks to RES for another amazing event, our last one of the year! 👏 it was lush to catch up with lovely friends out on the hunt too!

Darlo parkrun!
An impromptu visit to this morning! We always love going to Darlington because we get to catch up with some of the loveliest people 🙌🏻. After a late night, we almost didn’t make it 😂 and got there with about 5 minutes to spare!!

On the course - we bumped into birthday boy , our Strollers friend! It was such a random catch up, but lovely as always!

Shout out to lovely as well who SMASHED another PB👏💙

Today’s run was made more special because we finally got to visit the new .darlington store 🙌🏻 and spend our race winnings! I topped up my collection 🐒☺️ they’ll be appearing on the grid soon 💙

Thanks for looking after us as always 💕. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

A lovely day - now lots of chill time before the Landmarks Challenge tomorrow - one of our favourite events of the year 🙌🏻💙

Strollers End Of Year Party 🥳
Chris scooped the v40 award 💙
I came 2nd in women’s division 2, whereas our lovely Rachel came 2nd in division 1 💙🙌🏻
Always a lovely way to wrap up a running year celebrating with friends and fellow runners 💙
Congrats to everyone who won a prize this year! Also a big well done to anyone who bagged a PB, or simply just went out and ran for the love of the sport - it all counts 💙 all runners are amazing 🙌🏻

It was also nice for both of us to be nominated for Stroller of the Year. Chris has had a phenomenal year of running so I was so proud of him for being nominated 👏 as for me, I’m just always happy to be in the mix - I try really hard to rally the troops and encourage everyone, in my eyes that’s what it’s all about, so it’s lovely to have that recognised ❤️ thanks to whoever nominated us 🥰

The worthy winner this year was our lovely chairman Harry 👏🥳

Merry Christmas to all of our lovely friends and followers 💙

We’ve had a lovely Christmas Eve - the tradition is always to have a festive sandwich at Fausto Coffee, then a second coffee at Otto before visiting family ❤️

Thanks so much for all of your support this year, we really appreciate you all, and all of the kindness you continue to show us!

Our Tuesday video will be postponed until later in the week as we’ve still got some little bits to edit - but stay tuned for our usual bonus festive video tomorrow!

We may even see some of you at Herrington Country parkrun tomorrow 😉

Last race of the year ⭐️
Today we were at Chopwell Woods 8 mile race - the last trail race of the year ❤️

Let’s start with Chris…
He only came 8th!!! 7th male, and 2nd V40!! Finishing his year with a bang - it’s such a hilly course and he did it in under an hour 🤯 I’m so proud of him - what a year!

I went for a steady run today. I had 9-10 miles easy on plan, so just went to feel and came in just a couple of minutes slower than last year, at 1:17 ish ☺️ but I had the BEST time! Thanks to and ’s lovely fella Jay for the company 💕 it was lush to run part of the race with pals - thanks to Pip too! 🐾

A great way to round off a busy year of racing 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

Happy Friday! We hope you’re all feeling festive ❤️

TOMORROW - we’ll be staying fairly local and heading to one of our faves, Sedgefield parkrun

Then on Sunday - we’re heading back to do the very festive Wild Deer Events Chopwell 8 miler and planning on having the camera for that one ☺️. We loved it last year, so we’re looking forward to heading back for all of the festive feels 🎄

A fabulous weekend of festivities, friendship and fun! Running is definitely more fun when you share it with amazing people 🤗

Now it’s back to training…one last push to another weekend of festive running adventures and racing!

Muddy Roads Christmas Run 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏼‍♂️🎄 🦃
Race report: It’s officially the season of festive races and today’s was a race with a difference, a festive 5k around HMP Kirklevington. Because of the nature of the race, no watches, phones or cameras were allowed - it’s so strange running without your watch! The course wrapped around the prison followed by two trails laps and then a short lap inside the prison gates bringing us to the finish of what was a REALLY fun race! 💙

Chris romped home in 2nd place - continuing his amazing form! And somehow…I finished as First Lady 😱. This never happens, and I know it was just a fun 5k but I’m super proud of the result! Always nice when we both have a good one!

Muddy Roads races are our favourite! We got a lovely medal, lush cake and race prizes to spend at Up & Running Darlington 😍

Thanks Vicky and Gary for another smashing race and well done everyone who took part! We have no idea what times we ran 😂, but will update you when the results are out!

Talkin Tarn 💙🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏻
What a stunning morning at Talkin Tarn Country Park parkrun this morning. A beautiful two lap course around the Tarn and through the woods, it’s perfect for lovers of scenic routes and off-roading! Up there as one of the best we’ve ever done, stunning views and even better company 🙌🏻

A brilliant idea Jared, thank you 💙 there was even some time left to play with Bentley and Jasper back at Carwinley Barn before the journey home!
