We work predominantly as a trusted supplier to AV companies, live streaming agencies, broadcaster and corporate end clients. We film all size events from single camera meetings and awards ceremonies, to small multi-camera shoots using affordable flypack solutions, and sizeable multi-camera events using large bespoke flypacks or our outside broadcast truck. We shoot for record, live webcasts and tr

aditional broadcast. We also help clients who have their own cameras and crew, and want to use us just for digital glue including vision mixing, talkback, screens and/or graphics. If it’s related to a live event or shoot, we’ll help. Our in-house Live Ingest / Chase Edit™ department uses a variety of equipment (including just:in from Tools On Air) to provide instant record and edit, and ultra-fast copy-off facilities for multi-cam productions. Our audio department provides in-house support to our filming department as well as audio-only projects, from a single wireless mic to a small webcast PA to a full touring band PA system. They also support various complex talkback solutions, including in multi-location satellite feeds and single location multi-party wired + wireless solutions. Last month we were at The Excel centre providing full broadcast facilities for for NSPPD.
We provided OB1 as our engineering hub and external gallery for a 25 camera production with an audience of 40,000 people + additional overflow spaces.
This included

Zest4.tv headed to Berlin with our client Encore - EMEA, where we supplied a 4-camera PPU for the Redken Symposium! We positioned three box lenses – one on either side of front of house, and one at the control area. We also utilised a handheld RF camera to capture close-ups of live demos on stage. 💇

Autotrader’s Ultimate Car Hunt was live streamed from Manchester by our client Groovy Gecko Streaming Solutions. Zest4.tv provided a flyaway gallery in the Autotrader offices (to supplement the equipment in their existing in-house studio) and set-up a second, remote 4-cam flyaway, in an adjacent car park where the prize car was located. Harnessing the power of LiveU's LU800 to bring all video and audio feeds back to the studio for mixing, and Unity Intercom combined with Clear-Com Freespeak for talkback, we created a clue-filled presenter-led show that Groovy Gecko streamed out to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. Well done to the winner of the Tesla! 🗺️🚙

It was great to work with our friends Encore - EMEA again, as well as Legend and topflight rugby stars, at an awards evening at Battersea Evolution where money was being raised for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

Zest4.tv provided a 2-camera Portable Production Unit (PPU) with vision mixer, engineering rack, one box lens camera and a second handheld RF camera to interview guests at their tables (including Hambo). This was fed into the client graphics switcher and then projected as IMAG on the central screens. We used our Live Ingest system to record the mixer output and iso camera outputs, all timecode locked and with different audio tracks recorded on each record channel for greater editing options.

Zest4.tv provided full technical and AV facilities for Fugro's Town Hall at their Wallingford offices with Chaos Media. Taking multiple contributions from their other UK locations with two-way conversations over LiveU, the in-person audience of 200 had the opportunity to ask questions to any of these locations.
