Sometimes ... well... pretty often.... Our wellbeing is an afterthought... something to be left until time and energy allow.

But what if we reframed this concept?

What if... we saw our wellbeing not as a reward... but rather as a baseline... upon which a flourishing and vibrant life is built.

Think about it... any magnificent building requires solid ground.. a base. And a solid grounding in a pattern of wellbeing... forms the baseline.. upon which you can build a life of purpose... productivity... and joy!

And just like a house is built brick by brick.... creating a strong baseline requires consistent effort.

There will be ups and downs, but remember... you got this💪👑🌱

Start Small ▪️ Focus on adding manageable practices into your daily routine... maybe a short meditation session or a healthy breakfast.

Find Peace With Your Breath 🌬️☮️

"Take a deep breath". Those words might sound simple.... but that single inhale and exhale holds immense power.

So often, we get caught up in a whirlwind of thoughts – worries about the future, regrets about the past...

Yet beauty lies in your breath, it's always there, available to you, a constant companion to help ground you back into the present moment.

When you are anchored in the present moment.... your mind becomes clearer... less cluttered by worries.

Deep, slow breaths also activate your body's relaxation response, lowering your stress hormones, and bringing a sense of calm.

Try the 4-7-8 technique for yourself!
Inhale for 4 seconds,
Hold for 7 seconds,
Exhale slowly for 8 seconds
Yep! It is that easy. Repeat for a few cycles to calm your mind and body.

Ever had one of those "Wait, what just happened?" moments?

You know, when your mouth says something your heart didn't quite agree with, or you did something totally out of character?

Yeah, me too! Sometimes it's like there's this weird disconnect between what we think, what we say, and what we actually do. It's like a glitch in the Matrix, a gap in the code of our lives.

But guess what? This gap isn't a bug, it's a feature! It's where the real magic happens, the space where we can level up our self-awareness and become the ultimate creators of our own reality.

So, what exactly is this "gap"? It's like the space between the notes in a song, the pause between breaths, the silence between words.

It's the space where our true selves can emerge, where we can make conscious choices that align with our deepest values and desires.

Think of it like this: your thoughts are the blueprint, your words are the construction crew, and your actions are the finished product. Sometimes, the crew goes rogue and builds something totally different from the blueprint! That's where the gap comes in – it's the opportunity to check in with the blueprint, make sure the crew is on track, and course-correct if needed.

Why does this matter? Well, when we're not aware of the gap, we're basically running on autopilot, reacting to life instead of creating it. We're like NPCs in a video game, following a pre-programmed script.

When we become aware of the gap, we become the players, the conscious creators of our own destinies.

We are living in an age of constant connection, instant information, and ever-evolving technology. It is amazing.. but let's be honest, sometimes it can also feel a little overwhelming.

The constant stream of updates, notifications, and the pressure to keep up can leave us feeling pretty frazzled 🫨

So how do we defrazzle..? We don't get sucked into the vortex of endless scrolling. We focus on what matters, we set boundaries and we prioritise activities that add to our values and aspirations.

We make time to disconnect, to de-stress, and to recharge, we enjoy the present moment without the need for constant stimulation. 🧘‍♂️

Technology is an incredible tool, but it shouldn't control us, it's important that we use it mindfully and on our terms, to maintain a healthy balance between our digital connection and real-world experiences.

They say happiness is a choice, but I think it's like day and night.

We cannot be happy all of the time, nor can we be continuously sad.

We must let them interchange, like the sun and the moon. That's the cycle you see.

And yet, they can exist together sometimes too, a little strangely, a little awkwardly perhaps. Reminding us life isn't black and white, that emotions are every colour.

And nothing is constant.

They say happiness is a choice, but I think it's peace that we can choose, peace in the acceptance that life is everything. And that's okay.

A baseline of peace invites happiness to stay a little longer and lets sadness come and go, as it must.

As it all must.

Tesla believed that true enlightenment wasn't found in a monastery or a yoga studio, but in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

He saw meditation as a way to tune out the noise and connect with the deeper currents of consciousness that flowed through the universe.🌌

His methods were unconventional, to say the least!

Instead of focusing on his breath or a mantra, he would visualize complex machines and electrical circuits, letting his mind wander through a labyrinth of gears, wires, and sparks. It was a kind of "techno-meditation," if you will, where he would tap into the creative energy of the universe and channel it into his inventions.⚙️🎇🪷

This is one of my favourite concepts to explore, that everything in the universe is composed of energy vibrating at different frequencies :) This aligns with our modern physics, which tells us that matter itself is a form of concentrated energy.

Think about it...The physical world around you, the chair you're sitting on, the light illuminating the room, it is ALL made up of tiny vibrating particles.

Even our thoughts and emotions are forms of energy with their own frequencies. Everything is energy.... from atoms to emotions!

The universe is a place of wonder and mystery and while we may not immediately have all the answers, exploring concepts like Tesla's, allow us to expand our experience and awareness on the matter ;)

Our brains are wired for efficiency. They develop automatic responses to situations, often based on past experiences or emotions.

While this can be helpful in certain situations, it can also lead to impulsive reactions we later regret.

What if I told you there's a power waiting to be unlocked... the power of the pause ⏯️

The power of the pause lies in its ability to disrupt our automatic reactions. By taking a moment to breathe and center yourself before responding, you create space for conscious choice.
