Hello everyone!

First of all, just a little note to say how much I've appreciated your support on this business page over the years. I've had some great conversations with a lot of you on here, and I've really appreciated your feedback.

However, I've realised that my business is much more geared to do well on Linkedin rather than Facebook.

And as a the only person involved with the business, it doesn't do either page justice to try and spread myself too thinly.

As the incredible Ron Swanson said: "never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing".

There's one filming rule I've mentioned quite a bit on this page - but right now I'm going to tell you about the exception to it.

While I'm right in saying business videos are best filmed in daylight - you generally don't want to film them outside in the midday summer sun.

Really enjoyed filming at Hopton Court in South Shropshire recently... what a stunning location! You know you're in the country when you have to watch out for pheasants on the drive in.

When you're asking people to donate to your organisation, you've really got to drive home the message of why they should do that.

And with video, you can directly show the difference you make.

In 2020, VideoHQ worked with A Fertile Heart to create a promotional video for their crowdfunding campaign.

In the process of that, we interviewed four different people: a teacher, a bishop, parents and the course publisher; so that you can see from a variety of perspectives why the curriculum is important.

For the past four months, I've been working on my dream project - creating a film which captures the brilliance of the Shrewsbury LGBT History Festival .

Among many things, I've filmed a historical play; been hazed by Zoe Lyons on a Zoom comedy show; and interviewed inspirational people fighting for LGBT rights across the world.

So I really hope you enjoy this video! It's been incredible to work on it.
