Today from 6pm

I’m delighted to say that one of my best musical discoveries of last year ‘The Deadly Winters' are not only the featured artists on this weeks Rambling Folk but you can also catch them live this week at the Tolbooth Stirling on Friday night (1st March)
https://stirlingevents.org/tolbooth-event/new-noise-fidra-the-deadly-winters-abigail-pryde/

If you haven’t heard of them, The Deadly Winters are a 6-piece part Folk-Rock, part Americana creative outfit. They bring you tales of sorrow, love, debauchery and murder.…..in a very catchy, foot-tapping way.

We’ll also ‘Pause For A Poem’ with George White from Coupar and have music from the likes of Solas, Kinnaber Junction The Mary Wallopers, Fay Hield ,Ewan McLennan Julie Fowlis and much more.

I hope you can join me

Ian

If you had the app, you can update it to the Newly Branded app.
Some quality of life improvements like message the studio and an updated schedule.
The kind of stuff you’d expect from a Radio Station app.

Tickets are going fast for this show and we've still got several incredible guests to announce. Come along and support Creative Stirling when they need it most. Joe and the team have helped our band so much along the way, and the countless other artists and creatives that have came into contact with Creative Stirling over the years. Come lend your support. And if you cannae make it along, please think about donating to keep them going. Thanks! CFx

"Creative Stirling needs your help and urgent action. As a charity, we rely on two sources of income, external funding & profits donated from Made in Stirling Store sales.
Unfortunately, our charity has recently been rejected for the investment we urgently need from Creative Scotland (Scotland’s main Arts & Culture funders). This funding would have taken us through the rest of the Winter and beyond and allowed us to become sustainable in 2024. Without the funding, we are now in danger of losing our venue and seeing our charity collapsing in a matter of weeks - with the loss of staff.

We can’t deny that the situation is difficult, but if we can survive until the Spring when the tourist season begins again in earnest, things look much more positive!

You know our value to Stirling and its communities, and we will leave no option unexplored as we try to survive.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

As a Charity we understand that the cost-of-living crisis continues to put a great deal of pressure on households, but if you are in a position to do so, your donation could help ensure the future of Creative Stirling. Please buy a ticket for the event and join us where there will be opportunity to enjoy the music and also to donate directly if you have the means.

Thank you."
