After all the support Lance Rogers, Hunter Flynn & Daniel Cain have had from the Appalachian music community for our first tour under the mantle of For the Love of Appalachia, we need to return the favour by getting Jack Browning back to Kentucky!

Without Lance, Jack & Stevie O'Connor there would not be a KD Music Media, and we are hoping to be cheering Jack on from the audience at Laurel Cove Music Festival in June!

Let’s get him there 🙏💙

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

So if you saw the announcements this past month, you'll know I have my first headline tour ever in the Netherlands and then I get to tick off another HUGE bucket-list item by returning to my beloved Kentucky this summer to perform at Laurel Cove Music Festival.

Like last year, I'm putting together a couple weeks' worth of shows whilst I'm out there and I've been blessed with some amazing people asking if they can help me do it.

I've been thinking long and hard about how I could offer little ways of saying thanks for it, and I decided the best way would be to put on a crowdfunder-type thing with little rewards. I really don't like asking so it made sense to try and give something in return at least!

Let me be clear - there's plenty of other, far-worthier causes out there affecting folks right now and in terms of helping me, you all do that every day with your kindness and encouragement. We are over the moon to announce the first date & location of the upcoming tour of these incredible Appalachian artists, starting with the final date of the tour.

We are starting our announcement with the last date of the tour on Friday 28th February at Old No 7 Bar in Wrexham.

Lance Rogers and Jack Browning started off their 'Too Late For Flowers' at Old No 7 last March and Lance fell in love with the venue.

Jack will be joining Lance, Hunter Flynn & Daniel Cain to finish this tour off with a bang.

Happy New Year everyone!

NYE delayed our announcement by a day, but we are beyond excited to share the first dates for APPALACHIA ON TOUR showcasing the vast amount of talented musicians from the Appalachian region, presented in partnership with Freight Train Management & sponsored by For the Love of Appalachia.

Lance Rogers Music, Hunter Flynn and Daniel Cain will be hitting our shores for the last two weeks of February, and the guys are excited to meet you all! The UK’s own Jack Browning will be joining us for us a number of dates, with local supports to be announced for some venues.

Ticket links will follow shortly, and we aim to have all dates announced by mid-January. We have an opportunity for house shows, please get in touch if you would like to book.

Congratulations to Hunter Flynn on being chosen as their artist in residence for 2025 by the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum!

Each year, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame picks an Artist in Residence. This person represents the Hall of Fame, but also receives professional instruction in songwriting, music business skills, as well as provides on stage opportunities. For 2025, Hunter Flynn Music has been chosen as our Artist in Residence.

Hunter Flynn is a native to the Bluegrass state, born and raised in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Flynn’s first public performance came in early 2022. Since then, the singer/songwriter has gained national recognition as one of Appalachia’s most promising young artists. In an area that has no shortage of talent, it is Flynn’s soul-shattering vocal ability and veracious songwriting that makes him unique and leaves the listener with no doubt to whether or not he believes the songs he is singing. Flynn has now shared stages with the likes of Wyatt Flores, Zach Top, Larry Fleet, and more. The sky is the limit for this young artist who refers to his style of music as “Appalachian Soul.”

In the last couple of years, we have seen him grow in his songwriting and showmanship. We look forward to working with Hunter Flynn this year as part of our Artist in Residence program at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame!

We are crazy excited to announce that along with our sister page KD Music Media we are working on Lance Rogers' second run of UK shows in February 2025, and this time Lance is bringing friends!!

We had the best time on the road with Lance & Jack Browning during Lance's first trip to our shores in March this year, so when Lance said he's coming back and bringing Daniel Cain & Hunter Flynn we were over the moon!

And we're hoping Jack will be able to join the guys for part of the tour.

We have four shows confirmed and will share details with you all real soon!

Welcome to KDMM headquarters, otherwise known as our living room in Stafford.

After finishing 30+ years working for companies of all sizes, from smallish family businesses to multi-national corporations it's finally time to spread my wings and work for myself doing something I'm passionate about, supporting independent artists and live music in the UK.

I am currently working with five incredible Appalachian artists on dates for 2025, and can't wait to tell you more!

Everything is coming together for our official launch on 2nd December. It's been a busy time getting everything into place in the background, and we are already working with a handful of artists on tour dates for 2025. Exciting times!!!!

We will be using our sister page For the Love of Appalachia to feature the multitude of talented artists from the Appalachian region who's music has captured our hearts.
