Jumped at an opportunity yesterday to get some aerial photography for the organisers of Chef Fest in Hixon 🍻🍕🎸. What great atmosphere it was, great food, drink, live bands and people 😁. Loved it! Thanks for having us 🙏👌👍

Gladstone Pottery Museum standing proud under the fantastic weather we had yesterday 🌞

Grade II listed and there was first a pottery factory here in 1787 🫖🍽🏺.

It's now a working museum and has featured in many tv programmes over the years such as Doctor who, Blue peter, The irregulars, The great pottery throw down and more 🎬

A few from over Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet whilst there recently on another shopping expedition for some upcoming holiday clobber with the family 🛍👟🩳👕.

Fortunately, there's a decent bar there that plays up-beat music and sells beer in Steins so the actual shopping bit was made tolerable for me! 🍺🤣

Some of my drone pictures from the Harecastle canal tunnel which runs between Tunstall and Kidsgrove 💦.

There's actually 2 tunnels but only 1 in use today (the Telford tunnel) after a partial collapse of the other (the Brindley tunnel). The Telford tunnel was opened in the 1820's. The orange colour of the water is caused by iron oxide from mines in the area.

At 1.6 miles long, taking on average 30 mins to go through and getting lower in parts (see the white and black headroom marker) I see why it's gained the nickname "Scarecastle" tunnel 😯😱

Spotted some great examples of tilt-shift work (make places appear like a toy town / in miniature) shared by wallettography on Stafford Aerial Footage last week (go check these out!) so thought I'd brave sharing a few of my own attempts at this around Stoke whilst I was out and about there over the weekend. 🤏🏡. A few from Barlaston Hall. 🌳🏫🌳 .

Met some lovely people who were photographing a car to put up for sale while there so provided them with some aerial shots to compliment theirs too 😁🛸.🚘

This is a stunning grade I listed building and formerly owned by Wedgwood pottery.

At one point after falling into disrepair it was brought for the grand total of £1 on agreement that it would be restored. Following restoration work it went up on the market for over £2.3 million and is now privately owned.
