Stuff to do

Happy weekend Southampton! 🥳

If you’re looking for something to do, we’d highly recommend checking out ‘Multi-Stories’ in the Westquay car park for a series of free art, skateboarding and breakdance workshops. Find out more: https://soton.cc/44Jdx4V 🎨

OR if you’re anything like us and can’t wait for festival season, Fake Festival is taking place in Mayflower Park this Saturday 18 May. 🤘 Rock out to your favourite tribute bands with the whole family: https://soton.cc/3wF5CZT.

⚽ Southampton FC play in the 2nd leg of the all-important play-offs against West Brom at home tonight at 8pm. We expect the St Mary’s area to be busier than usual as the city gets behind the club. Come on you Saints!

🚢 The waterfront is likely to be busy with Red Funnel expecting an increased number of passengers this weekend and 1 cruise ship arriving today, 5 ships on Saturday and 3 ships on Sunday so please bear this in mind when travelling in this area.

🚧The temporary anti-clockwise, one way system on the Ring Road remains in place from Charlotte Place to the Civic Centre.

📲Travel with ease, journey with Breeze.
Breeze shows you the quickest, cheapest, and most eco-friendly options for the journey you want to take. Download the app to your mobile device from the app or play stores and when you can, plan to leave the car at home.

Come and stick a tile in!

Tomorrow, I’ll be in Westquay shopping centre, starting work on this mosaic. I invite anyone to pop in to say hello and to glue a tile in place.

The Artist hub is on the ground floor opposite-ish Waterstones

I’m hoping to be there from 10am, but I’d recommend getting to me from 11am to make sure I get there in time!

The finished mosaic will be adhered to one of the lighthouse sculptures. Once finished, the sculptures will be dotted around Southampton.
