Cadenza of Schubert’s Impromptu No.2 in Eb major, op.90 - played on an - 1812 John Broadwood and Sons piano, made in London.
By all means the Schubert was rough around the edges, but such a privilege to play such a unique instrument 🎹🎹🎵🎵

Erroll Garner: Misty
🎷Saxophone: Micky
🎹Piano: Oliver
In 1954 Garner composed "Misty", first recording it in 1955 for the album Contrasts. Lyrics were later added by Johnny Burke. "Misty" rapidly became popular, both as a jazz standard and as the signature song of Johnny Mathis. It was also recorded by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, Ray Stevens and Aretha Franklin.
Recording on my YouTube channel, link in bio and on my story, something different to what I usually post. 🎹🎷🎼
Such a pleasure to play my Grandparents amazing Cramer Piano. Has been played by 3 generations and will be passed down to me after my uncle.
It has such a melow sweet tone and is a pleasure to play the middle section of Schubert's Impromptu No.3 in Gb major, Op.90. 🎹
A full will follow in the near future, the piece still needs polishing.
(4) John Ireland: Love is a sickness full of woes
This is the final piece I recorded for the John Ireland Competition at the Turner Sims. I hope you enjoy. You can view the full vidio on my YouTube on the link in my bio.
The words of Love is a sickness full of woes (1921) are by Samuel Daniel (1562/3-1619), a poet, translater and writer of tragedies and masques who did service at the court of Queen Anne. Ireland's music has the whiff of an Elizabethan feel to it and imaginatively offsets the basically straightforward rhythmic pattern of the poem, which lightly muses on the pains associated with love.

(3) John Ireland: The Bells of San Marie
This is the penultimate piece I recorded for the John Ireland Competition in the Turner Sims. The full recording is on my YouTube, link in my bio. I really hope you enjoy this gem of a piece.
The Bells of San Marie dates from 1919. A foursquare four-bar introduction doesn't bode well, but the ballad style of this simple bell-haunted song about the delights of a mythical seaport ensured for it a lengthy popularity. Ireland here returned to poetry by John Masefield in familiar salt-encrusted mood. The 'sonsie seamen' look forward to San Marie's main attractions—drink and campanology. Happily, bell-ringing and beer-drinking remain companion pursuits to this day. Or so they say.

John Ireland: Sea Fever - E minor
This is the first out of four pieces I performed in the John Ireland Competition via the University of Southampton and the John Ireland Trust.
The imagery in “Sea Fever” suggests an adventurous ocean that appeals to all five senses. Along with an adventurous ocean, “Sea Fever” also sets a mood of freedom through the imagery of traveling gypsies. Perhaps, the most complex part of this poem is the use of personification and metaphor.

in C minor - Oliver Davis -
In celebration of Chopin's Birthday
Chopin wrote the preludes between 1835 and 1839, partly at Valldemossa, Mallorca, where he spent the winter of 1838–39 and where he had fled with George Sand and her children.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Marrige of Figaro "Le Nozzel Di Figaro"
Aria...Non piu andrai
One of my favourite and pieces I've known for the longest. Such a fun piece to sing anf here is a sneaky blooper from the recording sessions. Watch till end to see it. 😂 Trust me it's worth it (in my opinion) - so probably not in anyone else's.
