http://www.hurstmere.org.uk/592/studio-fix Welcome to Studio Fix, Hurstmere School's record label. We value your opinions.

This is a community page run by Studio Fix's Student Management Team. We'll be updating you on our progress and our events coming up in the near future. Studio Fix, started in September 2010, is a student-led record label based at Hurstmere School in Sidcup, Kent. At this point in time, 9 talented artists are signed, creating unique, inspirational and entertaining music every day. It unfortunately

remains stereotypical of boys that singing is just not their thing, but for Mr Gilbert, Hurstmere's 'Musician in Residence', he saw beyond that. Initially, a few students were chosen as a trial and very quickly the quality of their music spread around the school grapevine. It was clear after this that music was appealing to Hurstmere's boys. After two years of making music, competing in competitions and holding school concerts, Studio Fix was ready to go public. In the past, many national competitions, like Music for Youth, have been won and numerous school concerts have taken place. In actual fact, Studio Fix's acclaimed group 'SDK' got into the finals for Music for Youth and got the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform in front of thousands at the prestigious venue that is the Royal Albert Hall. Studio Fix not only aims to allow our boys to write, record and publish their music but it also aims to captivate and inspire others. Studio Fix welcomes active and positive participation on the Studio Fix page. However, we reserve the right to remove Spam or inappropriate posts. Moreover, any users found conducting any form of cyber-bullying on the Studio Fix page will be blocked indefinitely and in extreme cases further action may be taken against them.
