Avatar: The Way of Water finally released in cinemas after a 13 year wait, but after such a long time was it really worth it?
After all, the original film is often remembered for its groundbreaking special effects rather than it's story, but should that be the case?
Join me as I take a look back at Avatar (2009) and find out!

I love Avatar. When it initially released I was enthralled by its revolutionary 3D tech, even if the story didn't interest me, but upon rewatch I found it ver...

I'm an unapologetic Disney fan, it's been a massive part of my life and so I felt that looking back at where it all began would be an interesting history trip. So join me as I take a (very brief) look at the original Mickey Mouse short, Steamboat Willie!

Mickey Mouse is old.Steamboat Willie is a 1928 American animated short film directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. It was produced in black and white by Walt...

Captain Marvel is certainly a controversial entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but did it deserve the hate it received? I look back at this film a few years later to see how it holds up compared to the MCU as it now!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe now has 29 movies that have been released, 3 of which star a woman as the lead. This disproportionate number was once far worse,...

Wow what's this??? A Short I'm actually promoting????

The Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots released back in 2011, and now, eleven years later is finally getting a sequel.
So why did it take so long? And is the original really good enough to deserve one? Let's find out!

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was meant to release this week, but they moved the release date, so....Here's the video anyway!Puss in Boots is a 2011 American ...

Moonraker released in 1979, and was met with a mixed critical reception. Transferring Bond's traditional spy adventures into the realm of Sci-fi didn't go as smoothly as the producers may have hoped! But how does it hold up all these years later? Let's find out!

I Love James Bond.Agent 007 fights against evil in occasionally grounded, occasionally over the top adventures, but always, ALWAYS, set on Earth....Right?Wel...

Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf shared a passion for writing, and a passion for each other.

Portrayed by Gemma Arterton and Elizabeth Debicki respectively, this charming independent British movie from 2019 is a wonderful film and two wonderful women. I got to see it in a local small cinema with a friend a few years back and had a great time, so thought that covering it here (just before Debicki's birthday) would be a fun time!

Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf shared a passion for writing, and a passion for each other.Their relationship defied labels and was incredibly progres...

Tim Burton's Batman film from 1989 was massively important in transitioning the character from the childish TV show to the cinematic juggernaut he's proven to be in recent times.

With the recent success of The Batman, available now on Home Media. I felt it would be a good moment to reflect on the moment where Batman transitioned from ...

With The Northman in cinemas now, and Anya Taylor-Joy's Birthday having just passed, it felt like the perfect time to look back at Eggers and Taylor-Joys first feature, The Witch.
