I think it’s absolutely hilarious that an “artist” (who wasn’t booked by us - but came with a brand we gave a slot on our night) has responded to criticism calling it bullying

Apparently they think it’s clever to cavort and twerk in lieu of having any talent or creativity, making a mockery of genuine artists and setting back attitudes to women. If calling out the nonsense of celebrating lack of talent is bullying then go with that. If your response to criticism is to call it bullying, and if you believe your approach to promoting yourself is beneficial, then you live with that delusion.

We’ve endured for years without your help or support, and the reason for that is we’ve offered something people want. The music from our nights is still held in reverence and none of us have had to cavort in front of a camera - I’m sure many would be grateful for that. Still, you’ve got 30 years to prove us wrong
