We recently had the absolute pleasure of teaming up with one of our valued industry friends and regular clients, Daymon from .db to produce a series of engaging Q&A videos for a fantastic local school 📚🎬

With our dual background in media production and teaching, this project was a wonderful opportunity to bring our unique skillset to life. Filming in this outstanding school was such a rewarding experience, and it was truly inspiring to see how much care they put into creating a positive impact on their students' lives 🌟

A huge thank you to the amazing kids and headteacher - you’re absolute superstars! And of course, a big shoutout to DB Media for trusting us to help put this incredible school in the spotlight. For this project, we headed the camera and editing department to craft videos that highlight the school’s vibrant ethos and commitment 🎞️🙌

We’ve been uncovering some incredible stories at as part of our 🎥✨. Woodhorn is a powerful tribute to the North East’s deep-rooted mining and has been transformed into a wonderful green space for visitors. The legacy of the region’s miners is etched into every building, especially here at the former Woodhorn Colliery, where the preserved structures serve as a living memory of the community’s resilience and hard work ⛏🏛.

Filming on this historic site, surrounded by the very buildings that once buzzed with mining life, brought a unique layer of authenticity to our journey. It was a humbling experience to capture the spirit of a community that played such a pivotal role in shaping the region’s identity.

What a whirlwind month it’s been for us here at Schwartz Patrick Media! From the UK to across Europe, we've filmed across the continent and we loved every moment of it 🎥✈️

We kicked off the month with more shoots for HIDDEN GEMS—if you’ve been following along, you’ll know we’ve been diving deep into North East stories with some fantastic contributors. It’s been a privilege to uncover their inspiring stories and showcase their unique crafts.

On the gear side of things, our trusty Easyrig has been out on hire again—it’s still a firm favourite for productions looking to give their crew a bit of back support! If you’re planning a shoot and want a quote, don’t hesitate to reach out. We've got some cracking deals on longterm 📽️💼

Mid-month, our PD Ben jetted off to sunny Italy for another thrilling event at 🏎️ The adrenaline was high and the pasta and pizza weren’t too bad either 🍕🇮🇹

After returning, we teamed up with .db to create a heartwarming series of promotional videos for a local school—such a fulfilling project! ❤️🎬

We rounded off the month by editing to some total newbies using DaVinci and it was amazing to see their confidence grow with each session. We’ll be running some and workshops throughout the winter, so if you’re interested, drop us a line! 🎥💻

We’ve had the privilege of uncovering some incredible stories at the for our 🎥✨

Ashington’s rich mining heritage came to life as we explored the legacy of the Ashington Group, better known as the Pitmen Painters. These remarkable artists captured the everyday lives of coal miners, transforming their experiences into powerful works of art that continue to inspire to this day 🎨⛏️

Not only that, but filming on the very site of the Woodhorn Colliery—complete with its preserved mining buildings—added a special layer of authenticity to our journey. Being surrounded by these historic structures, we could truly feel the spirit and resilience of the local mining throughout history.

Huge thanks to the team at and the brilliant for sharing your insights into this fascinating chapter of Northumberland’s history. It’s been an absolute honour capturing these moments and preserving these stories on screen ❤️
