Afrishan graduated with top honors 🎓 in Material Science & Engineering, and initially pursued a career in Nuclear Engineering. However, her plans were interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic 😷 in 2019, and she discovered blockchain technology after buying some cryptocurrency and NFTs. Today, she works as an ecosystem builder ⚒️ in web3, having previously worked in project management.

Afrishan's journey from nuclear engineering to tech was not a straightforward one, and networking played a vital role in helping her navigate the industry. In this episode, she shares her experiences and insights, revealing the secrets to building a rewarding career in tech 👩🏾‍💻.

After getting laid off during covid Faith found herself in a Tech bootcamp and fast-forward to present day, she is a scrum master and software tester. Would you believe she used to work in a medical lab!!!??? 🤯

If you're thinking "I don't have a STEM background" OR "I don't have any transferrable skills for the Tech industry", that's an excuse that honestly is a pretty bad one because many people working in Tech today don't have a STEM background and some didn't even go to University.
