bad times at the end of the line - the very first music video directed and shot by me 🎥🎶

i had this idea to hire out a railway and get the band to push each other down it, heroing each band member and creating this cool dolly effect… and they let me do it!
i’ve always said if i was to shoot a music vid that i’d have to do something a little different. the second i heard the track i couldn’t shake these visuals out my head :)

EVERY SINGLE NOTWOWAYS SHOE HAS PASSED THROUGH MY STUDIO!
and will continue to do so. this is a side of my job that i don’t speak about much but i am immensely proud of. shooting all the product shots for notwoways.
to most people, pack shots are boring and monotonous but i bloody love them! having this level of a personal touch on products i care so much about is what makes ntw so special.

the last photo sums it up, this was one of the first jobs i had for ntw over 2 and a half years ago, the studio was a building site, power tools everywhere, breathing in sawdust and a half empty paint can was the counterweight for my light. i took the job on and made it work and can now look back on a stacked catalogue of shots and a very pretty studio (if i do say so myself).

we have sooo many incredible shoots at notwoways, this isn’t the most glamorous of the jobs but, it’s so vital in the process. one that often people don’t realise how much work goes into. trust me, you don’t wanna know the number of hours i’ve spent staring at these shoes 😂

wrapping up 2022. this year has just been incredible, from that first syzygy shoot in central london back in feb, to shooting in iceland for the latest campaign, having my work on daytime tv for the first time, the boxpark pop-up, all the articles who published my work and so so much more. it’s crazy to think how much has happened in just 1 year. i’ve learned so much being around all the talented and kind people i have the privilege of working with. thank you to everyone who supported me this year, got some big aspirations for next year and i cannot wait to get going again! we’re just getting started.
