University of Bolton Senior Management are currently consulting with a potential 80+ job cuts across the entire staff. This may include my own Personal Tutor and various other key members of staff on my course, English. Going into my final year, losing these members of staff will make my and my peers studies much more difficult. These redundancies are only to save money. We have a petition which has already collected 290+ signatures and I plan to send this petition to the senior management team by Sunday Evening (15/09 9PM). You can still sign and show your support online after this date, but please, if you are reading this, take action against these schemes so both University students and staff are not affected. We pay individually £9,250 per year as students. Thank you.
You can find the link to the petition on the second link below. Share this post so we can raise as much awareness as possible before the consultation is over and it's too late. You can also find out more about these restructuring plans proposed by the University at the first link below.
