STATS TO DATE, THANK YOU AND WEBSITE

We move into the final week of voting. We are absoluted gobsmacked at the amount of votes that we have had in. The results constantly changing. After the messages and comments we are getting I can see that 2025 will be a much bigger season for the voting and a chance to win awards.

We aim to celebrate the massive amount of talent in Hampshire. We are hoping to have so many sponsors for next year as people have seen that we are really trying to have something positive here. Anyone being able to win awards who have contributed to the arts in the last year and the years to come.

At the end of this season we will have a website going live to showcase this years winners and previous years winners as the years go by.

This is the last week so im going to give you a run down of the votes by category and stats for this last week.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARDS

Along with the 11 main awards we will be giving 3 awards in special recognition to individuals that have made a special contribution to the music scene in Hampshire. These are selected by other musicians randomly and shortlisted for the awards in December.

Moving forward in 2025 the special recognition awards will be shortlisted by all 11 winners of 2024.

Hello Everyone

I'd like to reach out and mention a few things.

Thank you to those that have nominated and voted. It is appreciated

To have almost 30k votes for our first year is incredible and a massive achievement.

We have been receiving a few messages from some that have been overlooked or missed.

The public and self nomination went out on Hampshire based groups like Ricksters, Hampshire Pub Bands and The FLASH ON AIR. This was from 14th September to 31st October. This then started the ball rolling for voting from 31st October to 1st December.

I do appreciate that some people have been missed, overlooked or not considered for an award. If on day one voting had started I was asked to put you down. I would have. However this late in the voting, would put you potentially at a great disadvantage. That is not fair to you and the hard work you have put in.

Similarly, when messaging our page and on the posts. It was stated that nominations and votes would only count through the official forms. No comments or messages would have been considered.

All of the data held (except for personal details) will be made available to view once the voting is complete.

2025 will be a bit more solid and we will have more of a following. Alot of people may not have seen the nominations because we were so new and the Facebook algorithms just didn't like it at the time.

Those not in the running this year fear not, you will have the opportunity to be nominated in September 2025 after a busy year of graft and hard work by yourself or your fans.
