Weekend Getaway 🇪🇸

Me and went to Spain!

We started off our trip with an early wake-up from Southampton to Alicante. The flight wrapped up around mid-morning, and we hopped into a taxi to the hotel, where our stay already promised a touch of luxury with a sea-view room and a balcony.

Our weekend in Alicante began with breakfast on the balcony, strawberry jam and bagels. A morning stroll led us to a 16th-century basilica, where we soaked up the history.

The weekend rhythm settled into a pleasant pace, more sea views, a banana and jam bagel breakfast on the balcony, and elevenses at Vegan Bombón. We hopped a Tram ride from Alicante to Benidorm and back, timing it just right to return for dinner at Bodhigreen.

The hotel area was near a casino and marina. A vegan brunch at Vegan Bombón fueled a climb up to Castillo de San Fernando (fortunately there was a slope to walk on). On the way back we stopped at Carrefour for snacks 😋

✨ As the weekend drew to a close, we prepared for the journey home. Alicante treated us to sun, sea, and small adventures that felt just right ✨

Alicante, gracias for the memories. See you soon, England! ❤️🥰
