As we wrap up our Grief Journey Group for October, we want to take a moment to reflect on what a meaningful time it has been.
Thank you to our families for trusting us with your stories, memories and your feelings. Grief is an individual journey, yet you showed us all the strength in sharing and navigating this together.
Thank you also to our wonderful volunteers, we couldn't do this without you. Your compassion and dedication is truly appreciated. The time given during these sessions, and the welcoming and safe space you help us create is second to none. Your efforts made this journey possible for everyone involved. You are truly amazing!

Jeremiah's Joy Singing Group
Jeremiah's Joy | #singing #joy
Our singing group - Jeremiah's Joy - has been established to provide a space for anyone who has been bereaved as a child or young person (including adults that were bereaved as children).
The group meets on Mondays 6-7pm at Mutley Baptist Church. It is aimed at bringing some fun and joy whilst providing a supportive space. The video shows a snippet of some of the group with ages ranging from 8yrs to 70yrs.
Led by Ashleigh and Sam from La La Choirs, this free to join singing group is a friendly, fun way to feed the soul.

The fabulous team Love Keep Create - The Clothing Keepsake Company are launching an amazing summer holiday competition in aid of Jeremiah's Journey.
They are running a competition to encourage you to get as creative as possible and to give you some summer time fun!
Design your own bear using the the downloadable design template on their website and get creative!

Grandad's Trail

James has recently worked with Noah to write a song about his grandad, called 'Grandad’s Trail', Noah and James talked about the things that Noah would do with Grandad and came up with a song, in the style of his favourite musician, Johnny Cash. This was a lovely way for Noah to remember his grandad.

We recently held our 'Memories at the Museum' event which is a free event for bereaved families to come along to celebrate the lives of those they hold dear through shared memories and heartfelt tributes. There was opportunity to explore the exhibits at The Box, and our Bereavement Advocates were on hand to offer support, advice and a listening ear for those that needed it.
