West Papua Family Day 2024 🇵🇬 In a powerful display of solidarity, individuals with West Papua heritage, their families, and advocates for the liberation of West Papua convened in Port Moresby for a monumental West Papua Family Day last Saturday.

The event commenced with a symbolic walk through the grounds of the University of Papua New Guinea Campus, where families united in their shared cause. Notably, Governor Powes Parkop of the National Capital District, a stalwart supporter of West Papua's self-determination, actively participated in the day's activities.

Held at the UPNG Drill Hall, the family day received crucial backing from Governor Parkop, underscoring the significance of his support. The walk culminated in a series of impassioned speeches, fostering an atmosphere of empowerment and cultural pride as families and individuals came together to celebrate their West Papua heritage through food and traditions

Governor Parkop's personal ties to West Papua, traced through his grandparents, have fueled his unwavering dedication to the self-determination movement since his formative years.

*Solidaritas Warga Denmark Dan ASNLF (Aceh) Untuk Palestina*

Denmark – Semenjak meletus perang antara Hamas dan Israel berawal pada 7 Oktober lalu, perhatian kemanusiaan dan solidaritas anti penindasan yang dialami oleh warga palestina menyebar ke seluruh penjuru dunia, termasuk hingga ke Denmark.

Dukungan perdamaian untuk palestina bermunculan di beberapa negara di dunia. Termasuk juga dari warga Aceh yang bermukim di salah satu negara Skandinavia itu.

Demo solidaritas menyerukan perdamaian dan membela kemanusiaan untuk Palestina dilakukan di Kota Alborg, kota ke 4 terbesar di Denmark yang berjarak 310 km arah utara ibu Kota Copenhagen, Denmark.

Para pengunjuk rasa sekitar 200 warga Denmark ditambah campuran imigran muslim lainnya turun ke jalan di pusat Kota Alborg dengan berpawai sepanjang 3 KM sambil membawa bendera Palestina.

Awalnya mereka berkumpul di balai Kota Alborg kemudian berjalan kaki mengelilingi kota sambil meneriakkan yel yel orasi mendukung perjuangan Palestina merdeka serta kecaman terhadap kekejaman Israel di jalur Gaza dalam bahasa Denmark kemarin pada hari Selasa, 24 Oktober 2023.

Meskipun sudah memasuki musim gugur yang menusuk kulit, acara demo dan orasi bebas berawal dari jam 5 hingga menjelang malam itu berjalan tertib dengan dikawal oleh mobil polisi.

Sementara itu Koordinator Acheh-Sumatra National Liberation Front (ASNLF) di Denmark, Muhammad Hanafiah beserta Diaspora Aceh lainnya yang juga ikut hadir dalam demo tersebut menjelaskan motivasi keikutsertaannya sebagai duka cita dan solidaritas sebagai bangsa yang terjajah.

“Kita ikut serta dalam aksi unjuk rasa atau demonstrasi yang dilakukan oleh bangsa Palestina karena kita merasa juga ditindas oleh pihak Indonesia walaupun cara berbeda".

Papua Militant International joined with the Latin America block for Palestine 🇵🇸 on Saturday, 21st October 2023, in London.

Latin America, West Papua, and people's of Britain joined today’s massive central London National March for Palestine.

In the past two weeks, the Zionist state of Israel has stepped up its murderous attack on the people of Gaza to levels surpassing its previous years of war crime, siege, and destruction. The US and Britain are thoroughly complicit in this, as is the British Labour Party, which has given the green light to Israel to kill, maim, and starve the Palestinian population.

Before the march our comrades FRFI supporters met up in Oxford Street, where we held a powerful speak-out outside Marks and Spencer, highlighting the role of British businesses, banks, and institutions in supporting Israel's oppression of the Palestinian people.

From there, we marched behind our ‘Zionism is Racism’ banner to join the march from Marble Arch to Downing Street. The length of the march, we used our sound system continuously, providing an open mic for anyone who had something to say in solidarity with the anti-imperialist struggle.

Today’s protest brought thousands and thousands of people onto the streets of London to voice their unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.

In our thousands and our millions – we are all Palestinians!
