CCTV has caught a brazen thief stealing a leaf blower from the gardeners working at the Stanley Arms pub in Aughton On Thursday 10th November at around 10 am,

The single male, driving a Grey Nissan, registration number PF70 ENP drove into the pub car park, saw the gardener's tools and circled them.

He then pulled alongside and leant out of his vehicle door and pinched the property.

A car has overturned in a crash outside the Hayfield Pub in Ormskirk.

A car travelling in the Preston direction appears to have collided with another car and flipped onto its side.

It is believed there are no injuries.

A motorist from Parbold ha been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a video was posted on Instagram of a car driving at 151mph on the M58.

Footage from Instagram Live showed a VW Golf R racing other drivers, undertaking and reaching high speeds.

His actions were picked up Merseyside Police who passed the footage onto their colleagues at Lancashire Constabulary.

A 22-year-old man has been jailed for 13 years for a series of s*xual offences in January and July 2020.

Joshua Corless, from Widnes, r***d a young woman on 11 January 2020 following a night out with friends in Ormskirk. He offered to take her home safely, but instead he took the opportunity to r**e her in a clear breach of trust.
