So from GBS Entertainment, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year!

Although over 20 years in the business, we started this page this year and have had a phenomenal response!

We would also like to thank each and everyone who has booked us & not forgetting the repeat business generated from our gigs!

Tonight we have Dominic Barlow at the Attleborough Arms & Christian Barlow playing the Attleborough Liberal club, not forgetting my sister in law Hella Bella who’s playing at The Acorn Pub, Nuneaton for NYE!

Elsewhere we have supplied sound and lighting to The Palace Cafe Bar & Restaurant for their reggae night & also providing the lighting for family and friends in Bulkington where they have (insanely) put up an inflatable igloo in their garden for this New Year’s Eve bash where they have my cousin Phil Barlow tearing up the village outdoors!

Again, a huge thank you to everyone who has shown us support in 2024 & next year GBS Entertainment has plans to take our shows to the next level - hoping to keep the folks of Nuneaton dancing!

Whilst we appreciate everyone’s out for a good time, when our DJs do happen to need the toilet - coming back into the room after a few minutes to find people taking pictures from behind the decks with drinks in hand (and on occasions searching our laptops for their requests) please respect we are using very expensive equipment. So if our equipment or DJs wishes aren’t being respected - WE WILL TURN OFF THE EQUIPMENT AND GO HOME.

We won’t lose a gig, but you guys will lose your entrance into a venue if not respecting people’s wishes inside the party.

Sorry for the negative post guys, but please be warned- enjoy YOUR party YOUR side of the decks and leave the music to us.

Here’s a little bit of nostalgia for the residents of Bulkington - been sent these pictures from when my dad used to do the discos around Warwickshire 🕺
His disco changed a lot over the years (keeping with the times I guess!) but a few people asked us what’s GBS stand for - it doesn’t really stand for anything except a little homage for my dad as he went out under the name GBs Roadshow for many many years & naturally I’ve carried on his passion. Though as someone pointed out to us recently.. it could stand for “Gary Barlow’s Son’s” either way, the light show may change over the years but our passion for music & providing entertainment for Weddings & Birthday party’s all originated from the old boy himself! 🫶🏻

Friday we had Dominic Barlow at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club supporting an Abba Tribute which was superb!

Then Saturday Christian Barlow played the Attleborough Arms for their Back to Clubland night!

Tonight we are playing the Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club supporting ABBA tribute! Such a gorgeous venue with a great crowd!
