Sad news.
Paul was so inspiring with his positivity and was kind enough to send us messages for RCR even though he was going through treatment.
RIP Paul x

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul Spencer earlier today. He was positive until the end but this was one battle he could not fight anymore. He leaves behind a wonderful musical legacy and many happy memories for many people. He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him. Shine bright our big star - K, A & H ###

Have you discovered Retro Charts Radio yet?

We've ripped up the radio rule book to bring you an alternative to all the rest.
We're on air 24/7, playing a complete archive of 20th century UK Top 40 hits, on random elimination with no ads, no presenters, no shows, no news, no favouritism and no exceptions.
No frills, just the music!
It's a musical journey no-one has been on before!
All the 50s, all the 60s, all the 70s, all the 80s and all the 90s Top 40 hits (over 15,000 tracks), play randomly for you with a
6 WEEK NO REPEAT POLICY!
Our ‘Now Playing’ feature also displays the year of chart entry and its highest position, fascinating facts nobody else provides on such a feature.
We're also adding some messages from the stars themselves, plus some of the hits that just failed to reach the Top 40.
Finally, there is something new for music radio and we hope you enjoy opening your ears and your mind to RCR, because this is not just radio, this is Retro Charts Radio!
Don't forget to share this and tell your friends 😉
Retro Charts Radio is fully licensed by PRS and PPL.

Retro Charts Radio is back on air 🙂
Being off for nearly an hour made us realise how much we depend on it. We were lost without it!
Quite simply, no other station cuts the mustard these days.

Currently, we have 76 jingles for Retro Charts Radio, which we try to rotate and play around the top of each hour, most of the time.
One of our latest additions 'The true home of non stop oldies' was suggested by Clive Williams, so thank you Clive!
Thanks also go to Macee Miller who came up with 'It's a musical journey that no one has been on before'.
If you have any ideas for jingles, please let us know and we will consider adding them to our collection.

Retro Charts Radio is currently undertaking some important system maintenance.
But don't worry. The music will continue with a back up selection which is slightly smaller than the norm, but still full of the usual random madness🙂

We've been asked a question and here's the answer.
Retro Charts Radio is not full charts from yesteryear. It's ALL the UK Top 40 hits from EVERY chart (from Nov 1952 to Dec 1999) on elimination random, with a 6 week no repeat policy 🙂
Please share this to anyone in your friends list who might be interested. Thank you!
