Once upon a time....

My story is a strange one. I was asked by my lovely sister to be her maid of honour. I was so delighted and when she asked if I would make a speech, I thought yea, sure! I was never going to do one of those ‘I’m so emotional and love her so much’ type speeches (its just not me). So I wrecked my head and thought I want something unique and special. Something that shows her I obviously care but without trying to make all my nearest and dearest cry! (unless it was cry laughing). I decided to do a video, which not only meant I could let my freak flag fly but also meant I could literally take off when it came to my speech. I then realised I knew nothing about making videos, editing videos or adding music but that didn’t stop me!

Some considerable time & educating later…..

I decided to get a lookalike dress and go on the run! I ran from the reception to visit locations, special to both of them. Her work, his work, the church they married in etc and generally make a fool of myself. Due to genuine amusement, people at each location, were always happy to help and to hear the story involved! On the day I got to stay outside the function room and listen to the laughter- it was epic!!
