It's ***anvisibilityweek ♥️🤍💜 So many have been forced to be silent on this that we have precious little of their real history. One extraordinary example of uncovering le***an life from history is the Victorian Ann Lister, whose extensive secret coded diary details her female conquests and is famous now as Gentleman Jack following a recent BBC series. Ann's diary was kept under wraps for most of the 20th century even. Did you know Ann was also a passionate explorer and mountaineer, and like Gertrude of Arabia from episode 4 she became the first woman to climb certain European peaks?

In another episode coming soon, we talk about a pioneering le***an who pretty much created BBC News and we never hear about her! Be sure to follow our podcast The Wyf Who for notification of the next episode's release.
