I hardly ever post my youtube stuff on here, as most of my facebook friends are not gamers, especially not when it comes to World of Warcraft. I’ve been playing this game for about 18 year, and for the past 2 year i’ve played it with the same bunch of 30 or so people from around the world, from places like Russia, The Netherlands, Norway, USA, various parts of the UK and anywhere else you can imagine.
In the game, you kill various bosses through “raids” in which 25 players all have to play at the same days and times every week and over time you all get to know eachother and adapt to eachother’s skills, just like a sports team.
The team i’ve been a “Captain” (Officer) of found out it was my birthday yesterday and Honar Art Kaderi, AKA Lionart, the leader of the guild, along with all the other guys we’ve both grown to love playing with and managing over the years, all sang me happy birthday and had a few drinks whilst we got our guild to rank 126 in the world together 😁
Whilst doing this, we also managed to get me two of the most sought after items in the game and had a load of laughs in the process. This may be cringey or confusing to people that dont understand the game or gaming in general, but it was truly heartwarming and a great night and i recorded and edited the whole lot and threw it up on my youtube channel for anyone that might want to watch it.
