Slimrim (or Rimal to his mum) started out DJing in Leicester in 2000 after being inspired by his idols Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and Judge Jules… and after getting some decks for his 18th birthday! His name was even derived from ‘Tall Paul’, as one of his friends pointed out, “he’s Tall and name is Paul, you’re Slim and your name is Rim!”

Education and a corporate work life ensued for the next few years before Slimrim decided to re-ignite his musical passion in 2018. Stylishly he plays a concoction of techno and tech house - taking inspiration from Toolroom Records and Drumcode artists.

Slimrim regularly performs in Shoreditch, Kilburn and Milton Keynes; but he managed to DJ in Ibiza in 2019, playing out at Pure, Ibiza Rocks Bar and Jet Apartments pool party!
