Predictions for 2025?

Last week I challenged my weekly networking group to theme their 60 seconds for our final meeting next week.

I asked everyone to make sure they included what they foresee for the upcoming new year.

It’s going to be a lot of fun 🤩

Plus it will make it memorable.

Here’s me going all in…t’was a tad windy 🌬️

I don’t often leave the house for work out of hours but yesterday I was asked to give a short talk.

Easy! I can talk for England even though I’m now in Scotland.

BNI Infinity Scotland West asked me to head out to the lovely Abbey Mill (Have you been? The reception desk is awesome!)

A busy room of hopeful faces wanting to learn about using LinkedIn in their business.

So we did a wee exercise on Headlines.

Why is it important to have a really compelling and self explanatory headline?

Well, to make it easier for people to know they have found the right person for the right reason.

We also got onto talking about Company pages…often set up and neglected.

However if it had a value would you give it more love? Absolutely, you should!

I have spotted a few new headlines already today and I would bet Company pages are going to get more attention too.

Thanks to the team at Infinity for having me. I really must go back in the daylight to see the chimney…

What’s your Magpie Mindset?

I have spotted the odd magpie lately and recalled the rhyme taught as a child.

Yet instead of accepting that the magpie showing up was to bring me sorrow I have noticed myself nodding back and wondering whose sorrow it is.

By not attaching myself to the story I retain my power.
