This short piece of untouched unedited VHS camera footage of the old Oaklands Children's home in Lowton as sent in by Billy James who was formally in care there back in the day. After watching our film The Shadow of Oaklands he got in touch and gave us some wonderfull history on his time there as a child and it just so turned out that he had this little gem tucked away so thank you very much to Billy for helping us to keep a wonderfull record of what is now just an echo of the past. We kept the footage completely raw and untouched as it was intended and to be honest I think it is better viewed this way.
