Our Story
The Klassics are a Group of Musicians made up from UKs top session players and singers The songs on the Album are all Classic Hit Records. When putting this Album together David Stevens Producer chose the best, and asked all the Musicians and Singers what were their personal favourite songs. The end result, an Album full of Great Songs Great Musicians Great Vocals Produced by David Stevens The Klassics Tim Cansfield / Guitars A professional musician since 1980, he plays the guitar and has been a regular member with Swing Out Sister since their 1989 release, Kaleidoscope World. Other artists that Cansfield has worked with include the Bee Gees, Steve Winwood, Elton John, Heaven 17, Billy Preston, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Seal, and Matt Bianco, and he has also collaborated with and currently touring with Barry Gibb Randy Hope Taylor /Bass Randy Hope-Taylor is a groove powerhouse, best known for his work with Incognito and Jeff Beck. He's also recorded and performed with such artists as Jamiroquai, Chaka Khan and Al Green. Best-known for his work with acid jazz pioneers Incognito throughout the 90s. His playing on Inside Life, Tribes and Vibes, 100 Degrees and Rising and Beneath the Surface cemented his position as one of the hardest-grooving bassists in the UK and beyond. Randy has also toured the world four times with guitar god Jeff Beck, and played on Jeff's Who Else and You Had it Coming albums. Trevor Murrell/ Drums Kevin Ayers,Joe Cocker, The Bee Gees, Sade, Daryll Hall, Kim Wilde, Wham, George Michael Des´ree, Matt Bianco, Boy George, Grace Jones, John Miles. Caroline Stevens /Vocals Started recording at the tender age of 14 went on to be one of the UKs top session singers working and recording with Tavares The Bee Gees Barry Manilow Cliff Richard Cilla Black Gen Campbell Willie Nelson Dolly Parton and many more David Stevens / Keyboards Production Keyboards and Production worked with Bogaz, Clem Curtis and the Foundations, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, The Drifters, Tayo Hendrix, Carl Douglas Tee Green/ Vocals Tee Green is internationally regarded as one of the finest vocal coaches in the music industry. He has worked his magic on acts including Blue, Westlife, Lighthouse Family and Alexander O’Neal. Being an established vocalist in his own right, he has backed many successful singers like Kylie Minogue and his amazing 4 and a half octave range can be heard on 81 albums worldwide representing over 120 million record sales. He has also written a number 1 for *N SYNC and has other writing and production credits for East 17, Worlds Apart and Kenny Thomas.
