Combining Virtual Production with VFX opens up endless possibilities. It offers creative freedom and flexibility, sustainability, and much increased cost efficiency. The video below is a perfect example. 🎥🎬
Traditionally, shooting a car commercial involves expensive location fees, travel, and a large crew. Virtual production allows production teams to create immersive environments in a studio. No more transporting crews or cars to distant places. Everything can be captured on stage with dynamic LED walls using either plate or virtual landscapes. The result? Reduced budgets and more control over the production.
In regards to the example I’m sharing, we shot all the plates in less than half a day, did the VFX work in 10 days (camera tracking, 3D animation, compositing), then at RecodeXR Studio, we did the VP shoot in 5 hours.
Additionally, this meant that the impact on the beautiful location was kept to an absolute minimum.
